🐾❤️ Celebrating Our Incredible Veterinary Technicians & Assistants! ❤️🐾
There are simply not enough words to express how grateful we are for the amazing team of technicians and assistants we are blessed with.
These incredible women are so much more than animal lovers (although they certainly are that!). They are intelligent, knowledgeable, skilled, resourceful, and endlessly compassionate. They are the people who somehow manage to accomplish a million things in a single day, often while juggling a dozen different responsibilities at once.
But what makes them truly extraordinary isn't just what they do. It's what they give.
They pour their hearts into caring for animals who can't tell us what's wrong. They comfort frightened pets, advocate for those without a voice, and support families through some of the hardest moments of their lives. They witness suffering, illness, loss, and heartbreak on a regular basis. They hold beloved pets during their final moments, shed tears alongside grieving families, and carry the emotional weight of those experiences long after the workday ends.
And then they come back the next day and do it all over again. Because they love animals that much. ❤️
This profession demands an extraordinary combination of intelligence, resilience, patience, compassion, and heart. It's physically exhausting, emotionally taxing, and far too often underappreciated.
To Shoko, Rachel, Kaelah, Karen, and Maggie: We appreciate you. We admire you. And we are so incredibly proud of the work you do every single day. Our hospital would not be what it is without you, and the animals in our care are incredibly lucky to have you in their corner.
Happy Veterinary Technician Week! Thank you for giving so much of yourselves to the animals and people who need you. 🐾💕
