As daylight decreases and routines change, some cats may nap more, while others become restless or look for extra ways to burn energy. A few simple enrichment activities can help keep them mentally stimulated and physically active all season long.

Try adding a cozy window perch for bird watching, scheduling a short interactive play session each day, or introducing a puzzle feeder to make mealtime more engaging. Small changes can make a big difference in your cat's overall well-being.

What does your cat love most: watching birds, chasing toys, or climbing to the highest spot in the house? Let us know! 🐱

Every species comes with its own rulebook, and veterinary technicians learn them all. 🐢 🐰🐍

A rabbit's stress response looks nothing like a dog's, and missing it can mean missing a serious problem. Restraint pressure that is perfectly safe on a cat can be dangerous for a bird. A reptile processes medication differently depending on the room temperature. Knowing those differences is not a bonus skill; it is the job.

Thank you to our technicians for everything you carry and everything you catch.

Join us in celebrating them this National Veterinary Technician Week. 🐶😺

Senior cats may slow down, but subtle changes can tell us a lot about their health. 🐱💙 As cats age, wellness exams may include kidney and thyroid screening, monitoring for often-overlooked signs of arthritis, and tracking weight changes. Regular senior exams can help uncover concerns early and guide care as their needs change. Schedule your senior cat’s wellness exam today!

Looking for healthy treats to share with your pup? These dog-friendly foods can make great snacks when served properly and in moderation!

Remember:

🍎 Remove pits, seeds, cores, and rinds where applicable.

🎃 Choose plain pumpkin—not pumpkin pie filling.

🍽️ Introduce new foods slowly and offer them as treats, not meal replacements.

If you're ever unsure whether a food is safe for your dog, give us a call—we're happy to help!
