We wanted to give our clients a little heads-up that Dr. Tait-Nickel and Dr. Catherine Ha will have some overlapping vacation time in mid-September. But don’t worry — we’ve been planning ahead to make sure your pets continue to receive the care they need! 💙

We’re excited to have 4 wonderful, experienced veterinarians helping us keep our schedule covered while our regular doctors are away. Our team has been working behind the scenes to prepare, and we’ll do our very best to accommodate your pets during this time.

✨ If you have an appointment you’ve been meaning to make, now is a great time to get it booked! Maybe your pet is due for a wellness visit, vaccines, has a concern you’ve been keeping an eye on, or there’s something you’ve been meaning to have checked out. Booking ahead gives you the best selection of appointment times and helps us make sure we can see your pet when they need us. Ordering medication refills extra early is also a great idea to avoid delays!

🦷 Thinking about a dental or another procedure? We have limited availability for procedures in September, but we are already booking into October, so now is a great time to get on the schedule.

We’re so grateful to have a wonderful team and fantastic veterinary colleagues helping us keep our patients covered while Dr. Tait-Nickel and Dr. Ha enjoy some well-deserved time away. ❤️

Come see Dr. Yu for a reptile or exotic pet wellness exam. We offer bloodwork, X-rays, even dental cleanings (or trims)! We currently offer a waitlist but can typically accommodate within 1-2 weeks :)

DID YOU SEE A DELIBERATE HIT?

Intentionally harming turtles is an offence with fines of up to $25,000.00 or 1 year in jail.

Get the license plate and provide details to the OMNRF conservation officers by calling the TIPS line at 1-877-TIPS MNR (1-877-847-7667).

Deliberately harming turtles means that someone went out of their way to hit the turtle or alternately did not avoid the turtle when they had the means to safely do so.

Video, photos and other witnesses are always helpful but not necessary when reporting infractions.

Poaching turtles carries fines of up to $100,000.00. If you see suspicious activity call the authorities above.
