Britannia Heights Veterinary Clinic

Britannia Heights Veterinary Clinic Accepting New Patients! A compassionate small animal practice that provides veterinary services for dogs and cats.

Dr. Torabi purchased Britannia Heights Veterinary Clinic in September of 2015. As many of the long term clients witnessed, the clinic was put through a lovely transformation while Dr. Torabi expanded the clinic's footprint. His excitement to share his home away from home continues into his 6th year of ownership. Dr. Torabi continues to welcome both long term and new clients to his veterinary practice.

To prevent your pup from contracting parvo, it is essential to get them vaccinated. A puppy’s first set of vaccinations happen at 6 weeks old with another two at 9 and 12 weeks. When your dog is brought into our clinic, they will be assessed by us and we will advise you on all follow-up dates. Always look for clinical signs of parvo in your dog, and if you notice symptoms, contact us at (613) 726-2666 to book an appointment for diagnosis. Don’t leave it until its too late!

Honestly… they might be onto something 😌 Whether it’s saying no to chaos, no to sharing boxes, or no to anything that doesn’t pass their vibe check, cats set boundaries and stick to them.

Polydactyl cats are born with extra toes, most often on their front paws. It’s a genetic trait and is usually completely harmless, just an extra dose of cute. That said, those extra toes can come with a few care considerations. More toes means more nails to trim, and sometimes they grow at different angles or are easier to snag if not maintained. Most polydactyl cats live totally normal, healthy lives, but regular paw checks and nail trims are important to keep them comfortable.

Dogs experience the world through scent in a way we can’t fully imagine. They have up to 300 million scent receptors, compared to about 6 million in humans, which means smells carry much more information for them.

What seems gross to us is often fascinating and informative to them. It’s completely normal behavior, even if it makes us question their choices.
