Without getting into politics, I must inform all owners of asthma cats that they will no longer be able to get their inhaler medicine from Canada for $65. You will now have to pay the US price of $350. I'm so sorry this is happening.

***$5 off Giardia testing through the end of September!!!!! There is too much Giardia in our area. Let’s kick its butt! 👊👊

We are seeing soooooooo many giardia positive patients! Dr.Cunningham saw 4 positive f***l samples so far today.
Giardia is a parasite that infects the GI tract. It can cause diarrhea and weight loss, but not always. Rain and run off spread it everywhere and none of the preventatives kill it.
So, if you would like to make sure your dog hasn't picked it up with all this rain, please bring a sample to be checked. Currently, with the special, this test is only $32!

Pretty Girl, a 14 year old female spayed feline, is scheduled to be euthanized at 7pm tomorrow. Her dad has deteriorating health and can no longer care for her. Alternatively, I have 24 hrs to find her a new home to live out her final days. So this is my plea for someone to provide a home for this cat. It will be a short term commitment. She probably won't live more than a year. She is used to other cats but has never been around a dog. She has early kidney disease. She will need special food and medication for high blood pressure. She will also need fluids under her skin a few times a week, which I can teach you how to do. I am fine euthanizing as she has an irreversible disease, but she still has some life left if someone is willing to give her a home.

Just a reminder that we will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day.

💊 Need a medication refill? Please call in your refill request early so we have time to get everything ready before the long weekend!

🔨 Tuesday, September 8th: We’ll be having some work done to our building, so we will not be seeing appointments in the clinic.

🏡 In-Home Visits Available Tuesday, September 8th! We still have ONE spot available for an in-home visit. If your pet needs to be seen, give us a call to grab that last spot! 🐶🐱

"My name is Sunni (with one eye). I’m a little over a year old, and I’m looking for my forever home. I
was found pregnant and severely injured from a dog attack in June. Thanks to Dr. Cunningham at
Chittenden Vet Clinic and the team at Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery of Ohio, I’m finally healed
up and in the market for my new home. I’m incredibly playful, sweet, and I don’t let having one eye
slow me down! I would prefer to be the only cat in the house, as I have strong survival instincts, but I
will bring love and joy to the family who decide to give me a happy, safe home."
