Day 2 of the Ohio State Fair: Cady won Best of Breed in both Himalayans and English Spots in the youth breed show. Tomorrow will be Rabbit Judging Contest, showmanship and Skillathon. Lots of studying to do tonight! 🍀🐇

Cady Kyser will be showing at the Lorain County Fair again this year. They will have 2 lots in the Thursday auction. Thursday's small animal auction will be held in Barn 9 beginning at 1 pm with the turkeys. After turkeys will be lambs, ducks, rabbits, chickens and ending with goats. Cady has been working hard all year with their rabbits. They showed at American Himalayan Rabbit Association Nationals and won the Queen title. They showed at Ohio State Rabbit Breeders Association Mini Convention, placing third in Sr. Acheivement, second in Sr. Breed ID and winning the title of Queen. Cady will also be showing and competing at the Ohio State Fair from August 3rd to the 5th. Cady hopes to see everyone at the Lorain County fair to support the youth of Lorain County as they share their efforts with the public. Cady had a good day at the Summit County 4-H Fun Fair and the Summit County Rabbit Club Firefly Night Show.

Herioux's Tree II got BOB in the Fun Fair and Show B.
MG's Florence got BOB in Show A.

Spots had a great showing with at least 5 youth showing!!!! Thanks to all the youth who came out! It was geat to have so much youth interest in spots!!

ZNG's Sunny Side Up took BOSB in show B under Nita Butler. It is ALWAYS a pleasure to have Nita look at my spots! She is excellent with runnig breeds and great to show under. I know my babies are safe in her hands and that I will get GREAT feedback to help me in my herd.

The Summit County Rabbit Club ran an AWESOME show. The Fun Fair in the morning was also well run and well attended. I highly encourage any youth to attend the yearly fun show. During the fun show I was honored to have my himis be used as a demonstration for the youth in attendance of the first cylindrical breed. I love to spread the word on how awesome himis are! I was honored to win BOSB Spot in the fun show with my own doe, Riften Rabbits' Kira and to win Overall Rabbit Showman.

It was great to see everyone at both shows and I was glad to see other youth who I have shown with and even the youth who first got me started in Himalayans (Casey Johnson) and English Spots (Rome Kirtley).
