🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MEET JAIMIE! 🌟

This month, we’re introducing Jaimie, one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians! Jaimie is also one of our Clinical Team Coordinators and plays an important role in caring for our patients and supporting our veterinary team every day. 🐾

🐶🐱 What do you love most about working in veterinary medicine?
“I love the moment when a dog or cat improves. Hearing or watching them get better makes me so happy. I also really enjoy learning new things, and I can find something new every day.”

🐈 Tell us about your pets!
“I have an older tortie kitten named Hazel, aka Hazelut, aka Nut Job, aka Hazey Baby, aka Mew Mew. Shockingly, she has made me a first-time cat owner, and it has been so much fun watching her fully embrace the stereotype of a tortie.” 😹

✈️ What’s something your coworkers or our clients might be surprised to learn about you?
“I love to travel and experience new cultures, so I visit a new country every year!” 🌎

We’re so lucky to have Jaimie and her dedication to our patients, her love of learning, and all that tortie-mom experience as part of the UAVH team! 💛🐾

🐾 October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! 🐾

Some of the very best dogs are just waiting for someone to give them a chance. ❤️

Whether they’re goofy, shy, energetic, snuggly, young, old, or somewhere in between, shelter dogs have so much love to give, and every adoption makes room for another animal in need.

Already have a shelter pup at home? We want to see them! 🐶📸

Share a photo in the comments and tell us their name, where you adopted them from, and how long they’ve been part of your family. Bonus points for a “gotcha day” photo or a before-and-after! 🥰

Here’s to second chances, happy endings, and finding your best friend when you least expect it. 🏡🐾

Fall brings cooler weather, colorful leaves, and plenty of seasonal fun, but it can also bring a few unexpected hazards for our pets. 🍂🐾

From Halloween candy and glow sticks to decorations, costumes, corn cobs, and cozy campfires, a little extra awareness can help keep your pets safe this season.

Keep tempting treats and decorations out of reach, supervise pets around fires, and make sure costumes are comfortable and don’t restrict movement, breathing, or vision.

🍁 When in doubt, give us a call. We’re always happy to help keep your pets safe, happy, and healthy this fall!

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MEET GRAE! 🌟

This month, we’re introducing Grae, one of our Client Service Specialists! Grae has been part of the UAVH team since October 2025 and is one of the friendly faces helping our clients and their pets every day. 🐾

🐶🐱 What do you love most about working in veterinary medicine?
“I love being able to meet and interact with our clients’ unique and precious fur babies. All the pets we see have their own very distinct personalities, and I’m always excited to get to know and work with them, even if it’s just taking them back to an exam room.”

🐈‍⬛ Tell us about your pet!
“I have a 1-year-old black DSH cat named Gatito Taquito. He is my pride and joy and the bane of my existence, all wrapped into one. He is by far the oddest cat I’ve ever owned, and he has a significant dislike for fish and seafood!”

🎤 What’s something your coworkers or our clients might be surprised to learn about you?
Grae may not have known what to put here, but we do! She is an amazing singer! 🎶

We’re so glad to have Grae as part of the UAVH team. If you see her at the front desk, be sure to say hello! 💛🐾
