We get this question a lot..why does my indoor cat need vaccines if they never go outside?
Well the fact of the matter is, sometimes cats get out. And when they do, that's when things can get scary fast. One scuffle with another animal and an unvaccinated cat can pick up something serious. And it's not just about escaping either: people can unknowingly bring things into your home too.
You'd be surprised how often this actually happens. Even one of our own vet's well meaning guests let her indoor cat out without realizing it. Luckily she was fully vaccinated and everything was fine, but the point is, you just never know.
