February 24th is World Spay Day!

Today we’re shining a light on the powerful impact of spaying your pet's. This simple procedure not only helps prevent unwanted litters, but also protects your pet’s long-term health.

🐾 Reduces the risk of certain cancers
🐾 Prevents serious uterine infections like pyometra
🐾 Can decrease roaming and certain hormone-driven behaviors
🐾 Helps reduce pet overpopulation in our community

Choosing to spay is one of the most responsible and loving decisions you can make for your pet. If you have questions about timing or what to expect, our team is always here to help. 💙

Bad Breath Isn’t Normal

Think your pet’s bad breath is just “dog breath” or “cat breath”? Think again.

Bad breath is often the first sign of dental disease, one of the most common conditions we see in pets. By age 3, most dogs and cats already show signs of periodontal disease.

Untreated dental disease can lead to:
• Painful infections
• Tooth loss
• Damage to the heart, liver, and kidneys

Routine exams and professional cleanings help prevent bigger (and more expensive) problems later. If you’re noticing bad breath, red gums, or difficulty chewing, let’s take a look. 10% off all dentals during the last few days of February!

💙 Spay & Neuter Awareness Month 💙

Spaying and neutering isn’t just about preventing unwanted litters, it’s one of the most important health decisions you can make for your pet.

✔️ Helps reduce the risk of certain cancers
✔️ Prevents life-threatening infections like pyometra
✔️ Decreases roaming, marking, and some behavioral concerns
✔️ Helps reduce pet overpopulation in our community

Every year, thousands of animals enter shelters simply because there aren’t enough homes. Choosing to spay or neuter is a simple way to protect your pet’s health while also making a meaningful difference in the bigger picture.

If you have questions about timing or what to expect, we’re happy to help guide you!

Dr. Smith took great care of Milo during his dental procedure and February is the perfect time to prioritize your pet’s oral health!

💙 All dentals are 10% off during the month of February 💙

Dental disease is one of the most common conditions we see in pets, and it doesn’t just cause bad breath. Untreated dental disease can lead to pain, tooth loss, and even impact the heart, liver, and kidneys. Routine professional cleanings allow us to remove tartar buildup above and below the gumline, take dental radiographs, and address any painful or infected teeth before they become bigger problems.

A healthy mouth means a healthier, happier pet and more years of tail wags and kisses. 🐾

Call us to schedule your pet’s dental and take advantage of our February Dental Month savings!
