A chipped dog that no one comes for is one of the many sad situations we continually see.

Cornflakes was feeling all the sadness of this strange new world she was forced into. Plus her first day happened to be cold and rainy adding to her misery. Cornflakes and her ears are a sight. She allows comforting but also still searches for home. Each passing day makes it a little less likely home will be the one she knew. Help us find her a quiet place to heal her broken heart.

Theresa is the poster child for a night and day difference.

She is like a brand new girl! She is no longer the sad sick girl we first met. She doesn’t hide from the leash, she jumps up with enthusiastic joy. Theresa has puppy like energy now. She is hungry and ready to learn. Theresa had a short adoption but came back after for having too much zest. Almost all of the shelter dogs are frightened to some level and after decompression will have more energy or other personality traits not displayed here. Please give them time (weeks - months) to adjust.

A dog’s love is unbeatable.

Hard Seltzer is looking for someone that loves him back for all of his life. He is easy to please. Treats for free and space to explore. Hard Seltzer has a mushy mouth like he’s missing a few teeth on one side but his front ones are so white. It is a mystery we are going to leave for his forever to figure out.

Throw it. Squeak it. Tug it. Saskia is ALL IN. And when she really gets going, she does the most ridiculously cute little bouncy hops. Playtime with Saskia comes with its own entertainment.

But she’s not all toys and bouncy hops. She’s also sweet, gentle and an absolute lovebug.

Saskia came to CACC as an owner surrender through no fault of her own. She’s been waiting since August 30 and somehow this playful girl is still being overlooked.

How is this much personality still waiting for a family of her own?

We’d LOVE to see Saskia playing with her own family instead of waiting in a shelter.

Come meet her. Bring a toy. Prepare for bouncy hops. 🐾

A head like a grapefruit - round and delicious!

Pamplemousse is a big boy with a natural beach body. He knows commands and is kind of klutzy. Falling off chairs before he gets on them isn’t outside of his natural abilities. Pamplemousse is here to amuse and schmooze.
