🐾 Take $30 off adoption fees for these cats!

During our Their Turn for Love adoption event, take $30 off the adoption fee of any Tree House cat who has been waiting 30+ days for a loving family.

The event runs throughout June—which also happens to be Adopt-a-Cat Month—making it the perfect time to start your own with a cat in need of a second chance.

Sisters from different misters but besties for life in their new home. 💞

Melody and Happy (formerly known as Allegro and Happy Meal) were adopted as kittens from separate litters, and now they spend their days sunbathing, catching up on TV shows, and watching the neighborhood birds together.

A true princess, Melody loves attention in the form of Churu treats, pets, and perching on someone’s shoulder. Maybe a fish in a former life, Happy loves the bathtub, a dripping sink, and her water fountain.

“Since we adopted them, our home is filled with melodious purrs, toys, and playfulness!” says Melody and Happy’s new family.

During , many mama cats come into our care with litters in tow, spending weeks in foster care while their kittens grow strong and ready for adoption. 🐾

Nursing moms need support too, which is why we’re grateful to have Purina as our feeding partner. A healthy start to a journey begins with a full belly. 💛

Cubbie, Wrigley, Umpire, and Strike were looking adorable as ever in our resident clinic last week, getting bottle fed and napping in the incubator (for maximum oxygen flow and warmth). 🍼💤

At their age (2-3 weeks), they need to be fed every 3-4 hours by our team or their foster family. Since then, they went to their new foster home: We’re thrilled to watch them grow and thrive with their foster pawrent .whiskerer.

Learn more about Cats at Work at https://treehouseanimals.org/programs/community-cats/catsatwork/

*Cats at Work is a harm reduction program for cats who wouldn’t thrive in a traditional home and often have few pathways out of shelters. Through the program, cats are transferred from shelters and placed in working cat colonies in residential or commercial settings, where dedicated caretakers provide food, water, shelter, and ongoing veterinary care, giving them the opportunity to live safely and comfortably outdoors.

Umm… we think we found Barbie and Ken. 💅🐾

This duo is happiest together… preferably in a quiet corner away from the crowd. Introverted besties, anyone?

If you’re looking for cats who won’t take it personally when you leave for work, these two might be your perfect match. But once they settle in (and discover the magic of Churu), they’ll gladly trade their shy act for lap cat status.

Moonshine has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈💔

Affectionately called Moonie, this sweet stray from Murphysboro, IL, joined our Cat Cafe nearly a year ago after testing positive for feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). Many of you followed his journey as he faced each hurdle with quiet resilience.

After losing his appetite and developing a fever, Moonie was diagnosed with feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). Though treatment gave him brighter days and renewed playfulness, his compromised immune system made recovery unlikely. Foster pawrent Tali and her FeLV+ kitty, Baby Bear, welcomed him into their home, where he spent six love-filled months as a hospice cat.

Tali shared that Moonie adored games of “stick” and “string,” tap danced before every sip of water, and somehow managed to sleep with his head anywhere but a pillow. He was quirky, affectionate, and deeply cherished by his human and feline companions. The photos and updates we received showed us just how much comfort, dignity, and love surrounded him in the twilight of his life.

On his last day, Moonie enjoyed endless Churu treats from Tali and visits from our team, wishing him peace on his final journey. We’re so grateful to Tali, Baby Bear, and everyone who loved him along the way.

Fly high, Moonshine. We’ll carry your memory with us always, as we continue our work to advocate and care for all cats.
