Halloween Pet Safety - A Spooky Reminder!
Scene: A friendly witch offers a dog a piece of Halloween candy.
Witch: “Aww, who’s a good boy? Want some candy?”
Dog: Excitedly reaches for the candy.
Veterinarian: “WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! Not so fast!™ (The doctor Iteps between the witch and the dog.)
Veterinarian: “Halloween candy might be a treat for us, but for our pets, it can be a real nightmare!”
“Chocolate can be toxic, and some sugar-free candies contain xylitol, which can be deadly to dogs!” Witch: “Oh no! I didn’t know!”
Veterinarian: “That’s why we keep the candy for the humans and give our furry friends pet-safe treats instead!”
(The doctor gives the dog a dog treat.)
Veterinarian: “Remember, folks! The only thing that should be scary this Halloween is your costume, NOT your vet bill!”
