Second Chance Pets

Second Chance Pets SCP is a foster-based rescue group. All cats are tested for FIV and Leukemia, fully vaccinated, fixed, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped.

All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. The Adoption Fees are $110 for cats (or $175 for two cats) and $190 for dogs (or $245 for puppies). Since all of our pets are in foster homes, an individual pet may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If interested in one of our pets please fe

el free to complete an application, found on our website, and return it to us for pre-approval or send us an email so we can make sure that particular pet will be at our adoption event. We do not have a phone number so please e-mail us.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!
Can you guess which kitten has been dubbed “Tom Foolery” — clearly the class clown and full of personality! 😄. The rest of his gang (brown female tabby, 2 black females and 1 black male) are also looking for name suggestions and all are looking for a foster home.

They are all:

Congrats to our 50/50 raffle ticket winner from Paws of Paradise Usman Oyelami!! He has graciously donated his half of the proceeds back to SCP to further aid us in our mission of saving the most vulnerable cats and dogs.

Thanks to his generosity we were able to save this sweet boy from the Galveston County Animal Resource Center. He has an extremely swollen, ulcerated, raw and irritated left paw. Stay tuned for his glow up and adoption availability!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night at our Paws of Paradise Fundraiser! It was a blast and a great success. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

We also wanted to remind everyone that we will not be holding an adoption event today as our volunteers need a much deserved day of rest after all their hard work last night. We will see yall next Saturday, 5-16-26, with all our available cats and dogs up for adoption!
