On Friday, April 17, Griz made it to Vancouver. ❤️🐾

From the streets of Vallarta — beat up, tired, and fighting to survive — to a forever family, where he now has half an acre to explore and a pug playmate.

Thank you to Salty Dog Rescue for helping us to Griz’s happy ending possible. It takes many hands and many hearts to turn survival into safety.

Pippo is officially on his way to beautiful British Columbia! ✈️🐾

We are going to miss this sweet boy so much, but our hearts are full knowing he is headed to a wonderful forever family who has been patiently waiting for him — and happily soaking up every photo and video update along the way. 💛

These are the moments rescue is all about: the hard goodbyes, the happy beginnings, and the many people who help a dog get from “waiting” to “home.”

A huge thank you to our partners at Salty Dog Rescue for helping make Pippo’s journey possible, and to Robert for getting Pippo safely to the airport — including the very important potty breaks before takeoff. 😄🐶

Mango has a loving forever home waiting for her in beautiful British Columbia ❤️

We are looking for a Flight Angel on WestJet nonstop flight WS2215 from Puerto Vallarta (PVR) to Kelowna (YLW). At this time, WestJet is the only airline offering this nonstop route, every Monday.

Please help us get sweet Mango safely to the family who is waiting to love her.

Both Mango and Griz have received health checkups, dental cleanings, and health certificates, making them ideal additions to a caring home.

They are adorable, well cared for, and ready for the next chapter of their lives.

🐾 Meet Mango, Griz, and Pippo: Looking for Their Forever Homes 🐾

These three beautiful rescued pugs each have unique personalities and deserve the chance to find loving forever homes. ❤️

They are being rehabilitated and rehomed with support through Pug 911 Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping Vallarta area pugs and pug mixes find safe, loving homes. 🐶

Mango 🥭
Mango is a young, lively pug with a playful spirit and a love for human attention. Smart, social, and full of charm, she brings joy and energy wherever she goes. She would thrive in a home where she can be included, adored, and given plenty of affection.

Griz
Griz is a resilient little pug who has blossomed beautifully since being rescued off the streets of Puerto Vallarta. Once wary and undernourished, he is now affectionate, playful, and wonderfully calm. He would thrive in either an active home or a quieter one filled with gentle love.

Pippo
Pippo is a brindle Pug/Boston Terrier mix with a larger, athletic build and a deeply loving heart. He is sweet, sensitive, and thrives on companionship with both people and other dogs. Pippo would do well in a home with children, playmates, and space to enjoy an active, affectionate life.

Meet Pipo 🐾

Pipo is 3 years old, weighs 9 kg, and we believe he’s a Pug–Boston Terrier mix—which means you get the best of both breeds in one dog: the loving, people-oriented charm of a pug paired with the bright, playful, and loyal spirit of a Boston Terrier. A wonderful combo for a companion dog.

Happy Tuesday — and Happy Giving Tuesday!

Today, we’re asking for your support of our 501(c)(3) rescue so we can continue helping the neglected and abandoned pugs of Puerto Vallarta find the loving Forever Homes they deserve.

When a pug in crisis is reported to us, we act immediately — arranging veterinary care, testing for common diseases and parasites, and, many times, providing urgent treatment for broken bones, infections, and other serious medical needs.

Once stabilized, each pug receives the nutrition, love, and rehabilitation required to return to good health. From there, we work tirelessly to find Forever Homes and Flight Angels to help them reach safety. Just this week, Ricky and Lucy made their way to Victoria, BC — thanks to supporters like you.

If you can spare 5 or 10 “bones,” your gift truly makes a difference. Every contribution helps us rescue, treat, and transport more pugs to their happy new lives.
