Ferret Dreams Rescue & Adoption is blessed to have caring donors! You continually show us how much you care for the well-being of ferrets. When we told you about Olaf, so many of you left heart-warming comments on our post. Those comments were followed up with donations to help pay for Olaf's hospitalization and medical care. We just want you to say "thank you" for that.

Olaf is still at Critter Care Animal Hospital. We will update with any important changes in Olaf's condition. If you would like help us help ferrets, here's the link to ways you can donate to Ferret Dreams. https://www.ferretdreams.org/help-us-help-ferrets

Olaf was surrendered to Ferret Dreams Rescue & Adoption in sad condition. He has been hospitalized at Critter Care Animal Hospital for a couple of weeks. Top photo shows Olaf being held by Matthew, yesterday. Olaf is improving but Dr. Pfaff is concerned that Olaf may never fully regain leg strength.

If you can help us help pay Olaf's medical expenses, your donations would be appreciated. https://www.ferretdreams.org/help-us-help-ferrets

Notice from Lee and Matthew:
Ferret Dreams Rescue is currently over capacity due to recent unexpected situations. Over the last couple of months, we have received ferrets from local animal shelters/Humane Societies, strays, medical emergencies including a sick ferret dropped off at the front door. This is in addition to the surrenders already on our wait list. Because of this, we are asking for patience if you are already on our wait list. We will bring your ferrets in as soon as possible. We have many adoptable ferrets so if you've adopted from us before or are looking to add ferrets to your home, please contact us by filling the application on our website. We are working hard to contact everyone who has already submitted an application. We will be adding more available ferrets to our Adopt-A-Pet link this week. We do have a strict screening process but this is only to ensure these ferrets go to a final, permanent home. We can also use your financial help as we currently have 3 ferrets hospitalized. We can only continue our mission with your help and support. Here's how:

PayPal: [email protected]

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we are making a difference.
Lee and Matthew

Volunteers are always needed at our rescue.  Volunteers clean cages, clean floors, do laundry and interact with the Permanent Resident ferrets.

This past week, Ferret Dreams Rescue and Adoption received an abandoned ferret pair. A young male ferret and a young female ferret were found living in a small guinea pig type cage with only a food dish, a water bottle and each other. No sleep bag. No hammock. No toys. No human love. Just each other and waste.

Ferret Dreams was contacted and Lee went into action! He's been giving these abandoned ferrets lots of care and attention. The ferrets are now enjoying a normal ferret cage with soft fleece beds, toys, food and a made-for-ferrets' water bowl. The pair has been getting lots of out of cage time, too. They've been enjoying roaming around the shelter taking it all in like a pair of ferrets at a bed and breakfast!

The formerly abandoned ferret pair is now living the best ferret life available at a ferret shelter. But, one of these days, this bonded pair of ferrets will be adopted! Their new owner will make sure these ferrets know how special their lives are! Like all the ferrets at FDRA, they deserve to have their ferret dreams come true!
