We have a big announcement! Willow is a big sis to a human baby boy! 🥰 He came in early December just a few days after my last training session. Needless to say, I’ll be taking time off to figure out this new life with our little guy.

See you in the spring! 🫶🏼

Meet Bimba! She’s a mini poodle full of s***k and spark✨

She’s in my Wildflower Puppy Program, which means I work with her 2x/week to build skills and work on socialization, and meet with her family 1/week to teach them skills, games, and troubleshoot issues.

So far we’ve tackled her shark attack puppy biting, added fun enrichment activities, played games to help build easy skills like sitting instead of jumping or biting, and have gone on some socialization outings!

I love this program because we get to cover SO much in the same amount of time as traditional 1-1 weekly training. My clients also get more access to me, which can be helpful in this overwhelming stage of development.

I’m only able to book 1-2 more clients in this program before I take a break for the holidays. Reach out today if interested, or schedule a discovery call. 🎉

There’s a point in training leash skills where the walk looks like this 🥹🥰 Great job Gabe & !!

It takes multiple sessions, consistency, and LOTS of reinforcement to get here.

And tbh it doesn’t look like this for the entirety of the walk. I love encouraging my clients to let their dogs sniff, explore, and have fun on walks - all while keeping a loose leash.

If you’re looking to start on leash skills, fill out my contact form or schedule a discovery call!

Meet Bunny! She’s the second puppy to start training this month. I’m working weekly with Bunny and her mom on basic puppy skills and socialization.

This week we played some games together that will encourage desirable behaviors like sitting and basic recall & targeting.

We also started some exercises to help curb that sharky puppy biting. I’m a positive reinforcement trainer so we focus on rewarding when the mouth comes off of hands, and manufacture desired behavior using fun games.

Follow along for Bunny’s progress, and keep an eye out for 1 more puppy starting up soon!

Up next, meet Maple!! I started working with Maple’s mom before she even came home.

Brooke took my virtual Puppy Prep session which is a virtual session where we talk about potty training, puppy proofing, and most importantly, socialization. It’s a great option for expecting puppy parents.

Shortly after Maple came home we started the Wildflower Puppy Program where we combine day training (me + Maple for 1 hour 2-3x/week) and coaching (me + Maple & mom for 1 hour 1x/week).

We’ve been mainly focusing on games and strategies to help curb puppy biting, very basic training and confidence building, and socialization!

Yay meet Gabe!! He’s a 2.5yo ball of energy 🎉 So far we’ve been working on door greetings and loose leash walking.

Gabe had a wonderful foundation of training already, so we were able to work on actual door greetings today!

The video at the end is after about 20 minutes of walking calmly to the door, opening and closing the door, dull 1-3 seconds of petting, and so on.

We have more work to do improving Gabe’s impulse control, but so far I’m more than impressed with his progress!! 👏👏

I’ve been MIA for the month. Whoops! Connor, Willow, and I road tripped to the east coast so visit with family and friends. Luckily I’ve been able to work a few virtual cases, but I’ll be fully reopening my schedule in mid-August.

Willow has been exploring Jersey, Connecticut, and PA. She loves the quiet suburbs and rural life. So far, the lake and boat have been her favorite activities as well as seeking out rabbits and deer.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out to learn more about my services, please do so now. I’m starting to build out my schedule for my return ☺️

Yay!! Happy graduation Henry & family! 🎓🎉

Henry’s improvement since working together has been so fun to watch! We worked on front yard reactivity and leash walking skills.

At our last two sessions Henry was walking on a loose leash next to mom & dad with lots of check ins and attention.

He’s also reporting “triggers” to mom and dad when on the porch. We worked on making people and dogs walking by a fun and positive experience rather than a frustrating and negative one.

Amazing work you guys!! I hope your summer yard hangouts and walks are much calmer and happier ✨

Welcome Freya! We just completed session 2 yesterday, and Freya is progressing so nicely. Freya has trouble when meeting new people, as well as having people outside of her inner circle inside her home.

So far we’ve worked on an incremental plan on making me (the new person) = good things! We’ve progressed a lot in the last two sessions and are ready to work on some training in her house next.

I’m excited to continue working with Freya and her family so that they can have a protocol in place for Freya to slowly meet new people and hopefully add some friends into her inner circle. ✨

I just had my first virtual training session and loved it! Up until now I’ve only done consults virtually with short training demos. This is the first time the entire session was focused on training.

It was so much fun and worked SO well. We went back and forth between me demoing with Willow and coaching the clients with Olive.

Client Olive is very fearful of unfamiliar people in her home and her guardians goals are to focus on her jumping and biting. So working virtually makes sense.

Do you have questions about what it’s like to work virtually with a dog trainer? Drop a comment of DM me!

Congrats to Benson on completing a 6 session package! We worked on some notorious puppy skills like jumping, improved his impulse control with leave it, and helped him become more confident getting into the car!

Benson is lucky and has 3 little girls in his family, so we really focused on kid-friendly training and education on doggie body language.

Yesterday we ended our session with some leash walking skills. The littles learned how to give rewards on the move, and mom & eldest daughter learned how to hold the leash and reward check ins. They did great!

Best of luck Benson and family! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
