🥝🐾 Say hello to Kiwi, a petite little charmer who proves that the best things really can come in small packages! 🥝❤️ Kiwi is an adorable 10-month-old small Staffie mix weighing just 22 pounds. She may fill out a little as she matures, but she will likely not get much bigger.

🥝 A Little Backstory

Kiwi’s story started on a dusty road on the Navajo Reservation, where she was found all alone and in heartbreaking condition. Judging by how thin she was, it appeared that she had been dumped and left to fend for herself for quite some time. She was dreadfully thin, and the ticks covering her ears and feet were so severely engorged that it was clear she had been struggling for a while.

But here’s the part about Kiwi’s story that really gets us. ❤️

From the very first minute she was picked up, this little girl was nothing but loving. There was no hesitation, no shyness and no reticence. Instead, Kiwi seemed to look at the people who stopped for her and say:“Thank you for stopping to save me. I promise I’m going to make you very glad you did.” 🥹💕

Despite whatever she experienced before being rescued, Kiwi has remained affectionate, trusting and eager to be loved. She seems determined to make the most of her second chance—and she has absolutely no interest in dwelling on the past.

Kiwi is absolutely wonderful with people. She loves humans of all shapes and sizes and thinks strangers are simply friends she hasn’t met yet. She greets everyone happily and is always ready to be included in whatever is going on. Just being in your presence is her life's greatest joy.

She is just as delightful with other dogs. Kiwi gets along fabulously with the large adult dogs in her foster home AND the two younger puppies, proving she can happily navigate a household full of canine personalities. She is also very submissive by nature and will often roll onto her back when meeting another dog, essentially saying, “Hi! I come in peace!” 😂

Kiwi is leash trained, crate trained and house trained in her current routine. She is smart, eager to please and very responsive to praise and encouragement.

Kiwi is sweet, social, affectionate, dog-friendly and wonderfully adaptable. S

💙 THREE VERY SPECIAL ADOPTIONS THIS WEEK! 💙🐾

We may be a small rescue, but our **Circle 2 family has a way of multiplying!🐾

💙 NASH was adopted by a previous Circle 2 adopter… for their FOURTH Circle 2 Rescue adoption!** 🎉🐶🐶🐶🐶And they also foster! ❤️

Their daughter Zoe fell in love with Nash the moment he arrived—and thankfully, the resident dogs have also given their official stamp of approval too. 🐾👍

💙 And then there's Nash's brother, NICKY who hit the jackpot too! He was adopted by the friend and neighbor of one of our repeat adopters, foster families AND transport drivers. 🚗🐾

See what happens when our rescue family starts talking? Dogs get adopted! ❤️

💙 And finally, our long-time resident ZEVA found her perfect family! 🥹🏡

She waited a few months, but good things come to those who wait. Her new mom says Zeva already adores their son—so much so that when they dropped him off at school today, Zeva whined when he left.🎒🐶

Sometimes the best adoptions aren't random at all. They're kismet. ✨ 💙🏡

🐾🤎 Even at just 10 weeks old, Roman is already turning heads! This little guy has a gorgeous reddish-brown and white coat with beautifully symmetrical markings that make him one seriously handsome puppy. ❤️

Roman is a happy, content, funny and affectionate little guy with a wonderfully balanced puppy energy. He's definitely ready to play when the mood strikes—especially if toys or canine playmates are involved—but he's not a nonstop bundle of chaos. He knows how to have fun and then settle in for some puppy downtime. Basically, he's got the puppy thing figured out. 😄

And Roman is VERY well socialized with dogs. His foster family has introduced him to dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages—including little dogs, big dogs, puppies, adults and senior dogs. Roman seems to understand that everyone deserves a proper introduction and has a particularly charming way of making sure they know he's no threat.

We suspect Roman may have a little American Bulldog or Pit Bull mixed in with his Cattle Dog heritage, but like most rescue pups, he's a wonderful blend of several breeds—and that's what makes him uniquely Roman!

He's sweet without being clingy, playful without being wild, social without being pushy, and affectionate without being over the top. ❤️

And did we mention handsome? Because… just look at him! 🥰🐾

🐾❤️ Meet Koa — Three Legs, Zero Complaints & A Whole Lot of Personality! ❤️🐾 If you're looking for an outgoing, happy, social dog who thinks pretty much everyone is his friend, meet Koa! 😍

This handsome 4-year-old Husky is one of those dogs who seems to have missed the memo that he is supposed to be cautious around strangers. Dogs? Friends. Kids? Friends. Grown-up humans? Also friends. Basically, Koa's social calendar is wide open! 😂❤️

Koa currently lives with a large male dog and three cats, and he does wonderfully with everyone. He doesn't live with children, but there are lots of kids in the neighborhood, and Koa seems completely in his element when they are around. He loves being part of a family and happily welcomes attention from his two- and four-legged friends alike.

Two years ago, Koa was hit by a car and suffered a serious injury to his back leg that ultimately required amputation. But Koa? He just adapted and kept on being Koa. He gets around beautifully on three legs and doesn't seem to have the slightest interest in feeling sorry for himself. Why waste time feeling sorry for yourself when there are treats to eat and people to meet? 😋

And speaking of treats… Koa is very motivated by snacks. This makes him eager to learn and wonderfully trainable. He also loves being brushed and is happy to enjoy all the little luxuries that come with being someone's beloved dog.

Koa isn't looking for sympathy. He's looking for a family, some treats, a comfy bed and a whole lot of love. And frankly, we think that's a pretty good plan. ❤️🐾
