Guess what! Guess who’s ready to be adopted… GROOT!

He can play, jump, run, p*e normally 🤭, and he finally got a 🛁. He felt so good, he almost fell asleep in the tub. Then he got the zoomies because he felt so good and was happy!

GROOT will need another dog to play with, lots of hugs and cuddles, no young kids please. He is little! He went through the ringer for a good while.

We will keep him local. If interested, please send mom your application!

SOOKIE again!

I forgot to tell you that GROOT is doing well and only has 1 week to go with the party hat!

‘Bout time! He absolutely wants to play and everybody is scared of him. He rams into everything AND US with his darn apparel because he is wearing the hard cone since 2 weeks! 😱

Good evening! It’s me, SOOKIE!

I have an update on WARWICK tonight…

Mr. PERFECT (according to mom 🙄) went to the hospital today to have his teeth cleaned, his blood pressure checked and a few warts removed 😱

Mom said he lost 2 big teeth, a medium one and a small one, and he lost 4 warts and a cyst. That one was big, topped by a wart 🤯, and it was on his HEAD! He had a wart behind the ear, one on his left hip 😖. He had one removed on top of his right back foot and that one was really bothering him. There is another one on his chest but it will stay there for right now. Da boy is slowly becoming a cauliflower! 🤭.

The weird thing though is that the vet said he has A LOT of extra flesh under his tongue and around his mouth. Doc said that’s why the tip of his tongue is always out of his mouth 😳.

Mom said they will let his mouth heal first and then will have that extra flesh removed.

Since his liver and kidneys are a bit tired, he had fluids during the whole surgery.

Let’s say WARWICK is quiet tonight!

Hi! It’s me! SOOKIE!

I got an update on WARWICK. Mom took him to the clinic to have bloodwork done and x-rays.

The results are:

- Grade 2 heart murmur on one side
- Grade 3 heart murmur on other side
- Slightly enlarged liver
- Definitely needs a dental cleaning
- Had all vaccines
- The bloodwork shows:
Elevated ALT (liver enzymes)
Elevated BUN (kidneys)
- Granular casts in his urine (what’s that mom? 🤔) (clumps of proteins and cellular debris)

Mom said the vet will check his blood pressure before doing a dental, to be sure she can sedate him. She will take the opportunity to remove 4 big warts at the same time.

He follows mom everywhere! Oh! And he p*ed in the house tonight… 🫢 He was supposed to be pawfect… right, mom? 🤭

WARWICK will have his teeth cleaned and the warts busted on the 22nd if his blood pressure is good.

And now, an update on WARWICK…

You saw him yesterday, watching the street and passers by…

Here is hims today! 😲

Relaxed, stayed close to mom and was not even interested in what was going on outside. He ate well, gave mom kisses and even went to her to be picked up!

WARWICK will be fine. Mom is taking him to the vet on Monday morning 😱

He hasn’t seen the vet in a good while so it’s due.

I can tell you right now, he is not a Yorkie! He is not like Charline and me.

He’s long, muscular, longer nose, big ears. His coat 🧥is not like mine either. I have soft hair, WARWICK has coarser hair.

I asked mom why and she said because he’s an Australian terrier. You know what else she said? I couldn’t believe it! She said Aussies have better temperament than Yorkies! The gull!! She said that in my face! 😤

I said she had NO PROOF of that! She said she did because she had a few Aussies before and Silkies and Yorkies. Then proceeded to tell me that Aussies were the best, then the Silkies and last, the Yorkies! OH MY DOG!!! I beg to differ!

Mom said I have no boundaries, I am stubborn, get in trouble regularly, I don’t always behave or obey when she talks to me. WELL! Enough already! Anything else?

But WARWICK is great! He’s perfect! And he’s potty trained… So?

Hiiii, it’s me, SOOKIE!

We have an update on St.Nick! He is now home in Rhodes Island and he saw his mama ZOEY!

Nick (dad) said ZOEY was visibly happy to see her boy again. 🥳

ST.NICK has a new brother GUINNESS and he’s back with his mom. 😍

He fell asleep on dad, covered with a blanket.

Here are pics of the crew and dad, Nick!

Mom and Sabrina are so happy for him. It was a long road to recovery for St.Nick but he finally went home!

This is WARWICK, a Silky Terrier, rescue at 9 months old from a local shelter in 2014. You can see him in the first picture.

The following pictures are of WARWICK, who had been renamed Elvis. These pictures were taken today, after he was returned to rescue at the age of 12 years old.

The person who adopted him, gave him to her mother, who recently died. The person who originally adopted him said she can’t keep him because she works and cannot take him for walks.

I am taking him to the clinic Monday morning to assess his health condition.

I will say, this is the reason why I don’t do cosigners. I will say it again… 98.9% of cosigners will not keep the animal when the parent dies, even if they promised they would.

These are plain facts, not an opinion.

ST.NICK is on his way home to Rhodes Island.

He is finally completely over leptospirosis and doing great. He was here for 7 months before he was healthy and adoptable.

Update coming tomorrow when he sees ZOEY, his mama and his new dad!
