Every rider needs a horse that will put a smile on their face, and Toulie as the horse that will do that. I had an unfortunate involuntary dismount off another horse, so one of our junior riders stepped up to help me with Toulouse, a 2006 16.2 hand imported KWPN gelding (Toulon x Padarco). She loves him so much that if she weren’t off to college pretty quickly I think he might be hers! Toulie was a para horse in another life, and since being in the US has been out at third level, earning scores in the 70s. His BEST quality is his brain, he has NO spook in him at all that we have found (he has been with us for about a month), and has not offered anything but his best foot forward each day. He has a very easy flying change each way, goes very well in both the snaffle and the double, and would be a perfect horse for a Jr. wanting to come up the levels and earn a bronze medal, or an adult amateur that wants a very safe horse. He is super attractive and quite the charmer. He is located in North Texas at Whispering Farms Equestrian Center in Prosper, Texas. cannot believe this boy’s luck. We had a qualified home for Wil and it fell through...we have to find him another...back to square 1.
Wil needs a home. Currently located in Prosper, Texas, he is a 2006 KWPN gelding that has competed and shown through second level with his Jr rider, who has left for college. He is 100 percent sound but requires some maintenance if he is going to be in hard work. He is in work now with a trainer until he is rehomed. He requires an experienced rider that can deal with a reactive horse (he is also big at 17.1 hands!). He can be a handful!

Inigo ENF “Carson”....2013 KWPN gelding, 16.3 hands.
If you are looking for a Florida quality young dressage horse to take up the levels, here he is. This guy already has an admirable resume as a young horse, with scores at Training level and the 4 and 5 year old Materiale classes at Devon (he was also second out of twenty two horses in the Dressage Sport horse under saddle class at Dressage at Devon). He has exceptional gaits with a particularly remarkable canter and walk (which is saying a lot, because his trot is fabulous as well). He loads and travels well and is good in new places. He is a very personable horse that needs a dedicated rider to help him reach his fullest potential.
Having said all that...because he IS all that...he needs a serious rider. We are only looking to match him to a serious professional, ambitious adult amateur, or young rider who would have guidance. Because of his big gaits and his age, he would not be suitable for a timid rider.

We need to get this girl a new owner...a lack of time forces her sale. Someone needs to continue her training. Her owners have reduced her price to $7,000 and will entertain reasonable offers to easy transactions and qualified homes.

Who needs a special young horse? Meet Overcast, or “Cassie”, a 4 year old unregistered Friesian cross mare. This girl is a sturdy 15.3, and just came home from 60 days with Roger Daly, who, if you are in the know, is the best guy to start a young horse around. I am no longer in the young horse business myself, so this girl needs a good home with an experienced rider who can continue her education. She is absolutely NOT spooky (at Roger’s she will have drug a roping calf around and been exposed to just about everything), has excellent barn manners, and has three good, well established gaits, but she still has young horse moments and, like I said, needs an experienced rider or someone who is going to leave her with a young horse trainer for a bit longer to get her 100 percent confirmed in her good habits. She is very comfortable to ride, well balanced and light in her mouth. She loads well in the trailer, stands for the vet and farrier, and is able to be clipped. She is currently barefoot. We all love this guy! He’s been with us here at Whispering Farms (in Prosper, Tx, just north of D/FW airport) for a few months for training before hitting the market, as his owner has had life get in the way of horses (SO hate it when that happens) and he was put on the back burner. He has been a GEM. He is a solid 17.1 hand, 9 year old Hanoverian gelding, 3 excellent gaits, and we have found him to just be a very consistent, happy, cooperative trooper of a horse....we all agree that he is fun to ride, easy on the body (with a particularly remarkable canter), and has never had a naughty or cross moment. He has done some schooling dressage shows, and, in a prior life, did some hunters as well. He is superb on the ground, very friendly, with no vices. He has no adverse health history and relatively recent xrays. If you want a horse that could go into the dressage ring at first (and very quickly into second) level and be competitive, or want to undertake an eventing prospect, this is it. 2004 15.3 hand PRE gelding (Teodoro x Gloriosa G). This expressive fellow has impeccable bloodlines, known for athleticism and temperament, and Kelico has not disappointed. This fellow has shown successfully through I-1 with scores consistently in the high 60’s and is looking for his next partner to continue his show career up the levels or be that schoolmaster to work up through from the start...he has three very good, balanced gaits that are easy and comfortable to sit on. AST Fun Size (“Twix”) is an 8 yr old 13.3 hand sport pony...which is code for “we aren’t sure what he is”. While he may be of questionable heritage, HE believes he is descended from royalty and destined for greatness...and really, isn’t that all that counts? This parade-waving pony has the step in him of a full size dressage horse and fully embodies the motto of “you feel big, you ARE big”....he carries himself with the flair and confidence of any of bigger counterparts. A small adult or serious kid will light up the pony dressage classes and he is talented enough for the FEI pony ring.
Although he is fairly new to dressage, he is not new to life, so he has been able to learn a lot in a short period of time...he even has done a piaffe/passage clinic and learned a few half-steps in hand...he accepted this unfamiliar and unknown exercise with grace and offered a very good few steps of piaffe. He has a very good grasp of leg-yield and is beginning to understand shoulder in. He learns extremely quickly and I have no doubt that a capable rider can continue his education at lightening pace or take him in any direction. He is light and easy in the bridle and easy to sit on. I am 5’5 and 120lbs with a long leg. I feel like anyone with a similar height or smaller would be fine on him, and he is certainly sturdy enough to deal with a bit more weight.
I have a full set of x-rays done a few months ago, all very clean. He does not have an accepted pony card and his height is approximate, I am not an expert on the stick. I am sure one can be procured, but he IS a pony.
He is priced at 18,000 neg to the right home. He has an excellent brain, but he does have a pulse. No buck, rear, bolt, no bad pony habits, nothing like that, and he is extremely quiet, but he does have a gas pedal (not in a nervous way, he isn’t nervous at all) and he also has a very good brake lever...when you want to stop, he stops....so he might be a bit sensitive for a very novice (like a complete beginner) or very timid rider (like a screamer) on him...and no young children (like 4 or 4 year olds) This is a pony that needs to be utilized for his talent.

PHILFOLD, or “Phil” as he is known around the barn, is a 2013 16.1 hh OTTB. This guy has had a superstar start to his event horse career and is now ready for his next owner to take him as far as one would want to go. He is put together in classic event horse fashion, which lends itself to a superb canter and gallop. As important, he has an A plus brain, as is evidenced by his performance at his last USEA outing, where he earned a 26 in the dressage!
