The Cat Caper is two weeks away! As we get ready to celebrate, we want to express our immense gratitude for all of the generous sponsors who help make this yearly event possible. Their support helps the Cat Welfare Association provide care, shelter, and second chances to our over 250 cats in need.

Cats Only Upper Arlington is experiencing phone service interruptions related to internet outages in the area.

Our Lewis Center team is helping answer calls and route messages to the appropriate team members. Text messaging and email are also available for both locations.

Responses may take a little longer than usual while these service issues continue. Our teams are working hard to respond to calls, texts, and emails as quickly as possible.

😺 Meet our Featured Feline, Leo! 🧡

Leo loves morning cuddles, face rubs, and chasing his sister around the house while creating just the right amount of feline havoc.

He is also a gardener at heart and takes his responsibility for keeping the houseplants trimmed very seriously. A quick safety reminder for fellow feline gardeners: not all plants are safe for cats, so always check that any plants within reach are cat-friendly. 🌿🐾

When his work is complete, Leo supervises the neighborhood from his favorite windowsill.

😺 Meet our Featured Feline, Baby! 🧡

Baby is a three-year-old former stray who was found in a dumpster in Linden. These days, she has upgraded to a much more important role as household supervisor.

Her favorite activities include trying to steal food from Mom’s plate, playing with her favorite worm-on-a-string toy, watching television, tormenting her sister, taking very important naps, and hamming it up for the camera.

Before bringing your cat to their appointment, start your car and let the AC cool things down first. It doesn’t have to be a heat wave for a parked car to get uncomfortable quickly, especially when your cat is already dealing with travel stress.

A cooler car can help make the trip safer, calmer, and a little more meow-nageable. 🧡

Meowdy and welcome to Dr. Holly Monke-Eades! 🐾

Dr. Eades grew up in Plain City and earned both her BS in Animal Sciences and DVM from The Ohio State University. She is a member of the Feline Veterinary Medical Association, Fear Free Certified, and especially enjoys feline internal medicine.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Eades enjoys raising and exhibiting chickens, volunteering as a 4-H advisor, and spending time with her husband, three children, four Shelties, her cat Misty, and a cockatoo.

We’re so excited for our clients and feline patients to get to know her.
