Regarding the cat posted on 'Pride In The Port'

He was brought to us yesterday as a stray cat, we examined him and scanned him for a microchip. Sadly he was not chipped.
He did not require any urgent treatment.

We advised the finder to return the cat to the address where he has been cared for, for the past several months with a collar & contact number to give the owner the opportunity to claim him as their cat.

This is the advice given from the RSPCA, Cat Protection and other animal charities.

Polite Notice:

Could we please remind you to check your pets microchip details are up to date with correct contact information.
We have had an increasing number of animals handed in recently with incorrect phone numbers. 📞
This delays reuniting the pets with their owners.

Many Thanks
