Came in for a little stay with use for Vet Olivia and nurse Amy to take bloods.

In our lab we can run many different types of samples from blood work 🩸 skin cytology, ear cytology. We also have access to an external lab were we can send samples to if the test needed isn’t available in house.

Welcome to our wonderful new vet Amy, who joined the team last week ❤️

Amy graduated from the University of Bristol in 2021. Amy worked in first opinion practice for a year before moving to our Alsager branch in 2022, and joined the team at Winsford Veterinary Surgery in June 2026.
Amy has a special passion for surgery, and thrives on the variety each day brings at the practice. Amy's favourite part of the job is building strong relationships with clients and their pets.
In her spare time, Amy is kept busy with her lovely little rescue dog, Elfie. She also loves to get outdoors in nature, with a range of exciting hobbies including hiking, climbing, wild swimming and surfing.

Came in to see vet Olivia for his second vaccines 💉

We vaccinate against a combination of potential diseases. The vaccine protects against four of the most common canine diseases: distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and leptospirosis.
Puppies have a level of protection from disease in their first few weeks of life, from the antibodies in their mother’s milk. However over time these antibodies will fall, so to ensure the continued immunity is why we advise the importance of vaccinating🌟

🪥Start brushing your dogs teeth when they are a puppy to get them used to it.

help get them used to the process and help stop problems further into their life.

🪥Always use a pet friendly toothpaste.

🪥If your dog becomes stressed while you are cleaning their teeth, give them a break and come back when they are more relaxed.

If you have any concerns over your dogs dental health, give us a call
