🏆RESERVE WORLD CHAMPION!🏆

Meet Brodie… and what can we say other than WHAT. A. SUPERSTAR! ⭐🐾

Brodie has travelled all the way over to compete at the Para World Agility Championships and has come home as World Reserve Champion! 🥈🎉

And if that wasn’t impressive enough, those who remember Brodie will know this isn’t his first taste of the podium… he was also a World Champion last year in Italy! 🇮🇹🏆

We are unbelievably proud of this very special boy and his incredible achievement. Clearly, Brodie didn’t get the memo that he was supposed to take it easy this year!

Please join us in giving Brodie a HUGE congratulations!

What an absolute superstar!🐾

🍎 GET BOTH PATELLA LUXATION'S DONE AND MAKE THEM FABULOUS? 🍎

This is Snow (White obviously) who has been in recently to have her second Patella Luxation procedure under the care of our in house Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr Dan Bell.

Medial Patella Luxation is a common condition seen in small breed dogs and causes an intermittent skipping hind limb lameness.

Here shows a diagram of what happens to the Patella and how it's then corrected surgically.

If your concerned about your dog's hind legs, don't wait for the problem to get worse.

Get in touch with The Sands Veterinary Practice to arrange an assessment with Dr Dan Bell and find out what may be causing your dogs lameness.

🐾Remembering our incredible service dogs this Remembrance Day🐾

Meet Yazz! Yazz is a retired Guide Dog who now visits us regularly to help support her ongoing arthritis care.

Today, as we mark Remembrance Day, we also want to take a moment to recognise the truly amazing and brave service dogs who have dedicated their lives to helping and supporting people all over the world. 🌎🐾

From Guide Dogs to assistance and service dogs, these incredible animals play such an important role in the lives of so many people — and they do an absolutely fantastic job. ❤️

Join us in celebrating Yazz and all her service dog pals, both retired and still working today.

Thank you for everything you do. You’re all amazing! ❤️

IS YOUR PUPPY 6 MONTHS AND UNDER?

If they’ve already been seen by one of our vets at first they can now come for a free nurse consultation with one of our lovely nurses to keep an eye on the ever growing weight and to Flea & Worm them accordingly.

Also, if you’ve got some questions about feeding, neutering, exercise and naughty habits? This would be a great opportunity to speak with our experienced nurses so they can offer some guidance and advice in the early months of your growing puppy!

PLUS we want to give them a treat and a cuddle!!!!

Most importantly, it can help them get use to coming in to the not so dreaded vets!
