🔥🐾 Fire Season Preparation: Don’t Forget Your Pets 🐾🔥

With another heat wave fast approaching please consider the following information.

Take some time to make sure you have a plan set for your pets:

✅ Include pets in your evacuation plan.
✅ Prepare a pet emergency kit (food, water, medication, leashes, carriers)
✅ Make sure your pets’ vaccinations, ID tags and microchip information are up to date.
✅ Keep recent photos of your pets in case you’re separated.
✅ Know which kennels, hotels, friends houses etc are available that you can take your pet to.

The last day of extreme weather saw many stressed owners trying to evacuate, calling our clinic to request their pets vaccination records, with many pets NOT being up to date. If you're unsure when your pet was last vaccinated, please touch base with us.

A tip from Dr Peter- Put your pets vaccination certificate in a snap lock bag and attach it to your pets carrier or lead. ❤️🐶🐱

🩵Yesterday was a bittersweet day. After 7 years of dedication, empathy, and teamwork, Clare has closed the door on one chapter of vet nurse life to open another in a different area of the veterinary industry.
Who else will we turn to now to fix the things we can’t? To problem-solve issues that become too complicated? Or to go above and beyond for clients—like building a little wheelchair for a dachshund?
Your BSVC family will definitely miss your smiling face, kindness, and stories. Your time with us has been truly invaluable.
We wish you all the very best in this exciting new chapter of your work life. 🧡
