🐾💙 Happy Vet Nurse Day! 💙🐾

Today we celebrate the amazing nurses who help keep our clinic running and make such a difference every single day.

From reception to consults, phone calls to patient cuddles, nail clips to surgery, and everything in between! 🩺🐶🐱

We simply wouldn’t be the clinic we are without them, and we’re so grateful for the care, compassion and hard work they bring to our team every day.

Happy Vet Nurse Day to our incredible nurses! Thank you for everything you do for our patients, their families and each other🐾

You can always count on our nurses for the little bit extra TLC.

Ben had surgery on his ear with Dr Moss last week, he recovered really well with nurse Britt there to hold his paw during his recovery.

🪙 20 cents!
Congratulations to everyone who guessed 20 cents on our recent post about sweet Koa.

After safely inducing vomiting, we discovered the culprit — a 20-cent piece! Thankfully, Koa was a superstar throughout the whole ordeal and handled everything like a little trooper.

We’re just glad Koa is happy, healthy and back to her usual self. Although we suspect she may need a little help understanding that “finders keepers” doesn’t apply to loose change.

Thank you to everyone who joined in and had a guess. We loved seeing all your answers!

🐾 Take your guess! 🧐
We recently had a little surprise while taking X-rays of Koa, one of our many lovely patients. She came in for a planned X-ray, but Dr Mick and Nurse Britt weren’t expecting to discover something unusual hiding in her tummy!

To prevent the mystery object from travelling any further through Koa’s digestive tract and potentially causing a blockage or obstruction, we made the decision to safely induce vomiting and retrieve it. Thankfully, we were able to bring the object back up before it could cause any trouble.

Koa was an absolute superstar throughout the whole procedure and handled everything like a champ. And, despite her unexpected adventure, she was still more than happy to give everyone a big smooch before heading home!

But now for the fun part… what do you think we found? 👀

Drop your guesses in the comments below! ⬇
