Monbulk Veterinary Clinic Welcome to the Monbulk Veterinary Clinic Facebook site The Monbulk Veterinary Clinic has proudly been providing veterinary services since 1999.

In 2017, the clinic underwent major renovations, which now allows the team to provide veterinary services in a progressive environment. Dr Emma Thomerson, the sole veterinarian at the practice, purchased the clinic in May 2023 and is proud to offer a wide range of small animal veterinary services. At the Monbulk Veterinary Clinic, we are highly experienced in the treatment of small animals, in particular dogs and cats. This includes health checks, vaccinations, microchipping,
desexing, surgical procedures, diagnostic imaging, and management of medical conditions. We pride ourselves in giving every client and patient a personalized experience. We genuinely look forward to getting to know everyone and servicing both pets and owners to suit their unique needs. Our mission statement is to provide, with care and compassion, outstanding veterinary medical and surgical services to all patients and clients. We aim to develop and continue the education of our clients to ensure the highest standard of animal care and ownership.

A little dental-day romance… 💕

Theodore came in for his dental procedure and he developed a serious soft spot for Nurse Ally 🥰🐱

From cuddles and head bumps to plenty of kisses, Theodore made it very clear who his favourite person was! Safe to say, the feeling was pretty mutual. 😂❤️

Who knew a trip to the vet could turn into a love story? 🐾💘

🦜 BIRD FLU – WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND A DEAD BIRD

You may have heard about H5 bird flu (avian influenza) being detected in Australia. While the risk to most pets and people remains low, it is important that we all know what to look out for and what to do if we come across sick or dead wildlife.

If you find a sick or dead bird:
🚫 Don’t touch it or take it home
🐕 Keep dogs and cats away from it
📸 If safe, take a photo from a distance and note the location

📞 Report it to the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline: 1800 675 888

Please be especially alert if you find multiple sick or dead birds in the same area.
If your pet has caught or eaten a sick or dead bird and becomes unwell, please contact your veterinarian and let them know about the exposure.

When in doubt, keep your distance and report it. 🐦

Guess who’s back! 🥰

After some very important time away getting to know her newest little family member, Georgia is back at Monbulk Vet Clinic! ❤️

She’s clearly wasted no time getting stuck back into clinic life — her first weeks back included meeting this adorable baby wombat who needed a little helping hand from our team. 🐾🦔

We’re so happy to have you back as part of the team 💕
