Pride Month has immense historical significance grounded in resistance, advocacy, and the ongoing fight for equality. As a queer-founded company, we honor those who fought to elevate our visibility, not just for a time in June, but every day and for every one. Urban Animal honors those who came before us by continuing to fight, strives to be an inclusive workplace and to create change to positively impact our industry. 30 DAYS OF PRIDE | Urban Style...Day 1: We are building a worker cooperative! In an industry overrun by outside influences, we think it's important all veterinary professionals (those who do the work) can own their jobs. More than employee ownership, it's about governance too. It's not easy work, but it's a different way to do things and it's what makes Urban Animal proud, today and everyday.
