Good news update - I’m officially back to work and reopened!!

After what has been a very long and difficult healing process, I'm very happy to say that I’m healed enough to get back to doing what I love, taking care of your pups

There were definitely some hard days along the way, and I don’t think I could have gotten through this without all of the love, patience, encouragement, and support you all have shown me.
Thank you to everyone who checked on me, sent messages, sent positive and loving energy, donated, shared my fundraiser, brought your pups elsewhere while I was recovering, or simply kept me in your thoughts. Every single bit of it meant more to me than I can put into words. ❤️

I'm so thankful to have such an amazing community of clients supporting me and my small business. I’ve missed you all and your pups so much, and I’m beyond excited to see everyone again

**good news update, the intensive surgery they were going to do was put on hold, my surgeon wants to try everything he can to avoid having to go down that route- fingers crossed he will find a way to make that happen. I'll keep you all posted. Thank you all for your positive and loving messages and energy- it melts my heart and has really helped keep me going ❤️ **

Hi everyone — I wanted to share an update.

I recently experienced a sudden medical emergency that resulted in severe burns. As part of my recovery, I will also need surgery and ongoing treatment. Because of this, I won’t be able to groom or take appointments for the time being. My doctors currently expect my recovery to take until around the end of April.

This has been a very unexpected and difficult situation, but I’m focusing on healing so I can safely return to work and caring for your pups again. I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, kindness, and understanding during this time.

Some incredibly kind clients have also organized support for me while I’m unable to work, and I’m deeply grateful for the generosity and encouragement from this amazing community around my small business.

I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to Heidi at Dog Splash down the street. She has very kindly offered to take in any clients who need grooming sooner while I’m recovering. As an incredibly generous gesture, she plans to donate a portion of those grooming fees to help support me during this time, and she is keeping her prices at or below what I normally charge so clients aren’t paying extra.

Thank you all so much for your support. I miss you all very much and I’ll continue to share updates here when I can and as I get closer to returning.
