Prince day #6 update.
He is slowly getting stronger each day. He is finally able to walk now. Oh he’s so pitiful🥹
This boy was caught and saved literally in the nick of time💔

Meet Aubie and Shug…
Aka kitty boys…they come running when you say “kitty boys”. They are one and the same.
These boys came to us when they were barely a week old.
They are now 7 weeks old and ready for their forever home!!
They would really probably love to stay together…two kittens is always better than one.
Aubie and Shug have spent their entire 7 weeks of life together🧡💙
They are the absolute sweetest little boys, they love to zoomie around and check everything out and play, play but never too busy to stop and talk to you and they literally purr nonstop.
They are well adjusted to dogs and other cats.
They are in foster so meet and greets will need to be scheduled.

She was able to finally get a good look at his eyes and the poor guy has ulcers in both eyes, his left his worse.
I simply can not even comprehend what has happened to this boy, and the excruciating pain he has been in. I do not know if someone did this to him, or he got into something on his own…but good grief he’s a whole mess. But as long as he’s willing to fight, so are we!!! He deserves to know he matters too and people will love him and help him. Ugh my heart💔

This little lover boy. Not really sure how he’s still here in rescue, guess he’s waiting on someone special to come along for him…maybe that’s YOU.
Charlie is a total love bug. His favorite thing is car rides-he loves a car ride and to get to go with. Charlie also loves just being with his people and hanging out. He’s such an easy boy to get along with. He never complains, just as long as he can see you near. He has his favorite tiny toys and will entertain himself with them all day, he may even count them…
Charlie is dog and cat friendly. He is super loyal and loves being near but not too clingy, just has to have eyes on you. He loves a good nap too.
Charlie is a Shih Tzu/poodle mix. He’s 7 years old. He is neutered, has had bloodwork done and all is good, he has recently had a dental, heartworm negative. He’s 12.5lbs
He’s ready for his special someone to come along.

Cooper is such a wonderful little old man schnauzer!!
Cooper is 10 years old, but he doesn’t act a day over 5. This boy loves life and all it has to offer, friends, toys, dinner, treats, walks, snuggles…he doesn’t meet a stranger.
Cooper is neutered, has had bloodwork done and all was good, a dental, and is in great health for an older boy, heartworm negative. He’s got lots of good years left in him. He’s the perfect size 14lbs, and he’s a smart, loyal buddy.
He is a miniature schnauzer.

Also Layla, our little parvo girl is feeling much better💗
So far, she’s the only one of the group🙏 she’s the little old lady of the bunch of yorkies, Poms, and Jack Russel’s from the hoarding group.
She was able to finally get her little face cleaned up and ummmm she’s the most precious thing ever!!💗

Prince is up and eating finally!! He’s also accepting being petted, and eating meatballs out of dr Marisol’s hands.
Dogs are simply amazing, so resilient. Baby steps, but a big step towards healing for him!!! He’s had a long 48 hours.
Still not out of the woods, by any means.

Update on Prince…
He was given a lot of sedatives yesterday at Auburn trying to calm him down enough to be handled, he is scared and in a lot of pain and his adrenaline was in overdrive so there for the sedatives were not taking effect, until they did and they knocked him out cold. He has basically slept for all of yesterday. He is struggling to keep his body temperature up, so he’s been being kept warm. He has a lot of necrotic skin, and needing regular debrising, which will allow his skin to start healing. Sadly, this is chemical burns. He was not set on fire, this is not result of untreated mange, and we will never know what chemical or how it happened. The gradual worsening is due to the chemical staying on him allowing it to keep eating away at his skin. And now he definitely has secondary infections.
Prince is still heavily sedated from yesterday’s sedatives but he is able to stand and wake up now…and on pain medication, as well as IV fluids and medications he needs.
This boy has a long fight ahead of him. For now we will take it one day at a time, but rest assured he is in the best hands with Dr Marisol.
His pictures are extremely hard to see, so we will not post here yet.
Please keep this boy in your thoughts, and prayers. He needs every single one of them.
