Yrsa enjoying a beautiful morning on the ranch! This beautiful girl is still looking for her forever home. She’s dog door trained, good with kids & other dogs, still very young (approx 9 months) & would make a wonderful addition to any family or active home! ADOPTION FEES WAIVED! It is with heavy hearts, that we have decided to close the rescue. We love what we do, but unfortunately, due to health issues we are both dealing with, we are no longer in a position to properly care for the animals we take in. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve not only our community, but the animals in need. As of September 1, 2026, we will no longer be operating. Yrsa is still here & looking for her forever home & we would love to find that for her as soon as possible. Thank you isn’t enough for all the love and support we have received for our little rescue over the last couple of years. We will miss touring Fort Nelson First Nation and have made many friends along the way.

Now that the boys have been adopted, Yrsa would love to find her forever home. This sweet girl is approximately 8 months old & has her first shots. She loves attention & is eager to please. She would make a great addition to any home! If you’re interested, please fill out an application:

In rescue, the most rewarding part has always been finding great forever homes for the dogs we save, but every once in a while there’s one that steals your heart. For me it was Rollo. I’m so happy that he got such an amazing home, but also a little sad to see him go. We’ll miss you sweet boy! But you’re gonna have the best life!
