Meet Billy 💙
Billy is a beautiful 5-year-old Tonkinese who was sadly hit by a car on Saturday. He has suffered a broken leg and pelvis and urgently needs a blood transfusion so he can undergo the surgery he desperately needs.
Despite everything he’s been through, Billy is the sweetest boy, and we are doing everything we can to get him back home to his loving mum and much-loved fur siblings 🐾
We are urgently searching for a Type A feline blood donor.
Your cat may be able to help save Billy’s life if they are:
🐱 Healthy
💉 Up to date with vaccinations & worming
📅 Aged between 1–8 years
⚖️ Over 4kg and ideally not overweight
🩸 Have never received a blood transfusion

Meet Casper 🐾
13 years young. Jack Russell. Certified tough guy.

Casper came in after a very rude dog attack and decided that retirement was absolutely not on the cards just yet.

Instead, he chose the deluxe recovery package: ✂️ shaved sides, ✨ designer stitches, 🩹 drains, and a whole lot of vet-nurse attention.

There were moments where his wounds looked… dramatic (understate

From surgery ➡️ bandage changes ➡️ wound healing ➡️ granulation glow-up — this little legend powered through every step like a pro.

Fast forward to today and:
✔️ wounds healed beautifully
✔️ stitches out
✔️ back to supervising his humans
✔️ still running the household at 13

Proof that size doesn’t equal strength — and that Jack Russells are basically indestructible 💪🐶

🚨 EXTREME WEATHER WARNING 🚨
Protect your pets during the heat 🌡️🐶🐱
With extreme temperatures forecast, pets are at serious risk of heat stress and heatstroke.
🐾 Bring outdoor pets inside — especially rabbits, guinea pigs, and flat-faced breeds
🐾 Walk dogs early morning or late evening only — skip walks on very hot days
🐾 Test pavements: 5 seconds is all it takes — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws
🐾 Run air-conditioning or fans and use cooling mats where possible
🐾 Provide multiple bowls of fresh, cool water at all times
⚠️ Heatstroke is a medical emergency.
If your pet is panting excessively, lethargic, vomiting, collapsing, or seems unwell — seek veterinary care immediately.
