Doug the Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen knows exactly how to make the most of a sunny day — spending time on his slide! 😍

🐶 Fun fact: The Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen was originally bred in France to hunt rabbits and other small game, using their excellent sense of smell and determination to follow a scent through dense undergrowth.

Looks like Doug has traded the hunting trail for the playground! 😂💕

SPOTTED A LUMP OR BUMP ON YOUR PET?
Finding a new lump on your pet can be worrying, but the best first step is to get it checked by your vet.
Even lumps that look harmless can change over time, so early assessment is important.

🔎 What to do:
• Book an examination with your vet
• Take photos and keep a record of the lump
• Monitor changes in size, shape, colour or firmness
• Seek veterinary advice if you notice any changes.
The sooner a lump is found and tested, the more management options may be available.

Today we’re celebrating some of the cutest orange kitties who have strutted through our clinic! 🐈🧡 From cheeky troublemakers to professional lap warmers, our ginger patients certainly know how to steal the spotlight. 😻
🍊 Ginger cat fun facts:
🐾 Ginger cats are not always male — female ginger cats are just less common.
🐾 Their orange colouring is linked to the O gene, which is carried on the X chromosome.
🐾 Ginger cats can have a huge range of personalities — there’s no scientific evidence that being ginger automatically makes them extra cheeky… although our patients might disagree! 😂

🌈 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🌈

Today, our hearts ache for the pets of our own that we’ve loved and lost, and for every precious patient we’ve had the privilege of caring for who has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 💔🐾

Each one leaves paw prints on our hearts that never truly fade. We are so grateful to have been a small part of their lives and to have shared in the love between pets and their families. 🤍

Today, we remember them, celebrate their lives, and hold their memories close. 🌈✨

These gorgeous duo are Lilac Burmese cats! 💜🐱

Today, both Lottie & Leopold came in to be desexed, and we’re happy to say everything went smoothly! 🥰 After plenty of love and care from Nurse Jodie, they’ve now been discharged and are home recovering with their family. 💕

From the little puppy who once hoped she’d find a loving family… to the beautiful girl she is today. 🐶🐾

Evie has grown so much since her first days at home and puppy school adventures — now she’s soaking up every moment of love between her dads, Luke & Brayden. ❤️

Safe to say, Evie got her wish… and she’s one very lucky girl! 💕
