This sweet girl came in the other week for her puppy vaccinations. Lonnie is a stunning English Cocker Spaniel. Whilst originally used for their great hunting instincts, they equally happy lounging on the couch alongside their favorite humans. Their alert nature also makes them a great watchdog, they will alert you if something doesn't seem right.

A cat's purring is pretty powerful, and can promote healing for themselves. The low frequency vibrations (between 25 and 150 Hertz) produced while purring is understood to help with decreasing inflammation and reducing pain.

A purring cat has also been known to lower stress and blood pressure in humans, reducing cortisol levels and calming the mind.

So taking on more snuggles with your cat is literally going to be Doctor's orders for today!

Another round of Puppy School has graduated and we are so proud of their achievements.

A massive congratulations to Milo the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Stella the Beagle, Ace the Pug, Sprinkle the Toy Poodle and Rhys the Cavoodle.

Well done to all the paw-rents for giving your babies the best start to their journeys.

We are taking a small break from Puppy Pre-School in May but will be up and running against from June onwards.

Every patient that walks through our doors will be feeling a big variety of emotions, and sometimes coming to see us is a little bit nerve-wrecking.

Meet sweet Ramona, a young Dogue de Bordeaux. We know that Ramona is quite shy, and prefers to lay low. Unfortunately we do have to push the friendship a little bit from time to time to ensure a thorough exam, but we always try to accommodate every patient as best as we can.

We know her nerves don't come from a place of malice, so we try to create a supportive environment where patients such as Ramona can feel as comfortable as possible.

Just before Easter we celebrated our latest Puppy School Class graduates.

Please join us in congratulating Yuna The Border Collie X, Frankie the Shih Tzu, Charlie the Labrador, Rosie the Jack Russel and Cruz the Golden Retriever.
