Did you know we perform keyhole surgery too? 🩺

Keyhole (laparoscopic) surgeries offer less invasive techniques, faster recovery times, and lower post-operative pain making it a great option for many procedures - we are most commonly performing keyhole surgeries for female dog desexing, internal biopsies, and gastropexies (attaching the stomach to the abdominal wall to prevent GDV in larger, deep-chested dogs) 🐾

Phoebe came for BOAS surgery and stayed for the cuddles 🥰

BOAS stands for Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome and this surgery helps to alleviate breathing difficulties associated with brachycephalic breeds. Patients having this procedure will have their nares (nostrils) widened to allow better airflow, as well as their soft palate shortened - which overall makes breathing a lot easier for our squashy-faced friends 🐾🤍
