The position can be part time or full time with regular weekday hours and approximately one Saturday morning in four (9:00am–1:00pm).
We are a busy, independently owned small animal practice on the Mornington Peninsula with a young, supportive team and a strong focus on providing industry leading, good value veterinary care and client service.
What we're offering:
• Part time or full-time hours
• Approximately 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
• No after-hours, Sundays or public holiday work
• Above-award pay for the right candidate
• Supportive team environment
• Modern equipment and facilities
• Newly renovated practice
• Opportunities to develop your skills and take on responsibility

• Works well as part of a team
• Is organised, reliable and proactive
• Enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets

Previous referral centre nurses highly regarded and encouraged to share their skills and not take a “step down” to general practice.
We value people who are willing to pitch in, communicate well and contribute positively to the clinic culture.

If this sounds like a role that would suit you, we'd love to hear from you.

🐾 How Can Acupuncture Help Pets? 🐾

Acupuncture is a safe, minimally invasive treatment that can be used alongside conventional veterinary medicine to help improve comfort, mobility, and quality of life in many pets.

✨ Benefits of Acupuncture in Pets:

✔️ Helps reduce pain associated with arthritis and chronic joint disease
✔️ Improves mobility and flexibility in older pets
✔️ Assists recovery following surgery or injury
✔️ Can help manage back and neck pain, including some spinal conditions
✔️ Supports pets with neurological disorders by improving nerve function
✔️ May reduce the need for long-term pain medications in some patients
✔️ Promotes relaxation and wellbeing through the release of natural endorphins

Many pets find acupuncture surprisingly relaxing, with some even falling asleep during their treatment session! 🐶😺

At our clinic, acupuncture is used as part of an integrated approach to patient care, combining the best of traditional and modern veterinary medicine to help pets live happier, more comfortable lives.

📞 Contact us to find out whether acupuncture may benefit your pet.

Stories like Belle’s are exactly why we do what we do! 💙

We are so incredibly grateful for this beautiful review from Belle and Daisy’s family. Hearing that Belle is back to her calm, affectionate self after her surgery fills our hearts. Thank you for trusting the MEVV team with your beloved fur-babies! 🐾✨

They grow up so fast! 🥹🐶🐾

These adorable puppies were a special Easter surprise for the team, delivered by Caesarian the day before Good Friday by Drs. Pete and Lyla. Swipe to see how tiny they were when they first arrived … there’s nothing better than hearing those first few squeaks 🥹

Yesterday they came to visit Dr. Beth for their six week vaccinations and we were all amazed by how much they’ve grown! So special to get to be a part of these pups’ journeys as they grow and learn and find their furever homes ❤️

🐾🐶 Tonka & Leroy 🐶🐾

It’s hard not to fall in love with a Rottie pup! ❤️

Tonka breezed through his first visit for his vet work, with his faithful wingman Leroy right by his side showing him how it’s done. These two were an absolute pleasure to have in clinic — what an awesome pair of pups!
