Last weekend was Joy’s turn to shine in the limelight, and for Ruby to take a back seat. Two days of SprintDog at KCC Park Victoria.

Saturday she ran well at the Dutch Shepherd Dog Club of Victoria trial.

Sunday was the Melbourne Lure Dog Club Inc trial. Joy’s two runs combined to give her her second fastest time. Subject to Dogs Vic approval, Coppertop Hart of Gold (Joy) obtained her Advanced SprintDog title.

Good morning all
Well, the weather isn't going to be kind to us at Electra Reserve. It will be soggy underfoot and raining off and on. I'd suggest you have the morning off and practise some puppy push-ups in the family room instead.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I attended the Wangaratta Kennel & Obedience Dog Club shows, and the Wodonga Kennel Club shows. Each club held one show each day, so a total of six shows.
In every show, Zevenhek Precious Ruby won Dobermann Baby Puppy Bitch, and Dobermann Baby Puppy.
Very disappointingly, Wodonga did not provide ribbons for classes, which is against Dogs Victoria show regulations, and apparently quite a number of people complained and rightly so.
Wangaratta Kennel & Obedience Club were very generous and offered people their ribbons as a substitute as Wodonga didn’t supply them, but I wanted the Wodonga ones. Wodonga were happy to take your money but not supply the ribbons you are entitled to.
Overall it was a great three days. The grounds are fabulous, the shows ran smoothly, and rhe catering offered was excellent and delicious.

I was in the process of stacking her for the photo, when a dog got offleash and raced across near us, so neither of us are in the correct position.
