This very pretty Husky x Rotweiller girl urgently needs a foster ot forever home. She is still a pup about 9 months old - she has the best of both breeds temperaments and is cat friendly.Please message from Husky Rescue if you can help or whats app us on 065 367 0593 for more detail. After the storm chaos a few pics to uplift the spirits – quizzy little guys checking out their new digs at Imagine Animal Dreams. It’s been a busy last few weeks trying to get kennel and food out to areas that were flooded, getting soaked and dirty but knowing that few more little bodies have a drier place to take refuge in. 38 kennels dropped in the last 3 weeks to Help a Paw , Sweet Paws, PDSA - SA , Broadlands, SCARS, Grace and Dogs Deserve Better Rehabilitation Centre. Another 8 going out to Lwandle and Macasar this week with Community Animal Action and Hermanus Animal Welfare coming through from Gansbaai/Hermanus to collect 40 this weekend.

Heartwarming to think that our kennels are in places as far has apart as Gansbaai on the East coast and Elands Bay on the West coast and inland as far as Calvinia and Franschoek. While giving dogs better living conditions - we also strive to sterilize as many as possible via emergency vet help for other organisations or funding and assisting with transport on spay days. Food donations are scarce so please use Takelot or Amazon to donate to your favourite smaller animal welfare organisation – those are the ones that are really battling to feed all the hungry mouths they come across during outreach work or in their own shelters.
