We had two spca cases today - one we were told about a dog locked in a car 24/7 so we went to check to find a tiny yorkie living in filth, all the windows and doors closed up, no food or water and by the look of it he has been living in his own filth for a while. We removed him as he was panting and in distress due to the heat in the van but the "owner" and a group of her friends stopped us and it became quite heated. Hopefully the SPCA can get him out - it must be someones dog as its definitely not theirs
The second case we have begged these people not to lock the puppies in that box under the green fencing - we gave them fencing to put up, were actually delivering a gate to them today to find the pups still locked in , no attempt to fence - the pups drank down a bucket of water when we got them out. Hopefully a warning will motivate them to let their dogs free.
