The wind is creating haoc and we have started clearing up a really tough area where the dogs and cats are in very harsh conditions.Moms with pups at every corner and so many dogs chained tight. It will take us two weeks to get the dogs off chain and luckily we have steris next week to get as many moms in as possible.Ceasar the brown pup has no shelter in this wind - he is chained out in the open so we will get a kennel to him Monday,We got the owner to move him to under their roof. Blackie with the scars is starved and beaten so we are trying to get her out of there.Thank you to every one who supports us and helps give the dogs better lives.

We have all these small breed pups looking for a home - I will get individual photos early next week.

The pups whose mom went missing are looking so much better now they getting proper food - thank you to ursula liebenberg for sponsoring some puppy food for them. The deaf pup loves her bed - she is going in for steri next week and we are workingon getting her off the chain.Amazing how something as simple as giving a dog a bed makes such a huge difference to their confidence.
The thin girl that was chained so tight is now free roaming and slowly putting on weight, she has a long way to go still.

Between cat pick ups we treated Michael one of the dogs we have been looking after since he was tiny, for mange and a few of his friends. We found a mom dog with 6 pups hidden away that we will make sure is steried in the next pick up. Thank you to every one who supports us which enables us to help all the street animals. Thank you

Cat Tuesday today with forty cats in for steri - you can imagine the chaos of getting forty cats together in one spot for steri pick up - we had cats in from Strand, Firgrove,The winelands,Delft and Macassar.A huge thank you to the TEARS Animal Rescue team for coming through to collect them all and to for all the support.

We found this beautiful boy in the informal area today - chained so tight he could hardly move. We have left a warning and will go past tomorrow to make sure he is free roaming. The yard is fenced there is no reason for him to chained.
