Let's chat with Trevor about why a regular grooming routine is one of the most overlooked ways to protect your dog's health and your wallet long-term.
Healthier skin & coat - routine grooming prevents matting, hot spots, and skin infections before they turn into costly vet treatments.
Early detection - we're hands-on with your dog's entire body every visit so we sometimes notice lumps, rashes, ear issues, parasites, or worse before you do especially in area's you don't often touch. In fact, a routine bath at FPC is exactly how my own dog's cancer was discovered but that's a story for another time.
Comfort & mobility - overgrown nails and matted fur can affect posture and joints over time. Staying ahead of it means avoiding expensive pain management down the road.
Calmer dogs - regular grooming builds trust and familiarity, which means smoother, safer, less stressful grooming sessions every time.
๐ข We're not a substitute for your veterinarian. What we can do is tell you if something feels off, so you can get it checked out by your veterinarian. Keep up with regular vet visits AND grooming and don't hesitate to follow up on anything you're unsure about. ๐
