๐Ÿพ We're working next to the wheelchair with PJ! ๐Ÿพ

PJ has been working on something really important lately, walking nicely next to a wheelchair.

While it may seem simple, there's actually a lot for a young dog to learn.

The wheelchair moves differently than a person walking. It makes different sounds, takes up more space, and requires PJ to be aware of where he is at all times.

And he's been doing a fantastic job!

PJ is learning how to stay beside the wheelchair without getting too far ahead, falling behind, or getting distracted by everything happening around him.

Skills like this make a huge difference in everyday life.

Whether it's going to appointments, running errands, or simply getting out of the house, being able to move together comfortably helps make those outings smoother and less stressful.

It's exciting to watch PJ continue building the skills he'll need to support his owner in the future.

He's still young and has plenty more to learn, but he's making great progress every step of the way. ๐Ÿถโœจ

๐Ÿพ Stay tuned to keep following PJ's journey!

๐Ÿ• Meet Charli! ๐Ÿ•

Charli is the newest puppy to join the Belly Up Dog Training family, and we're excited to help her reach her full potential! ๐ŸŽ‰

Like many puppies her age, Charli has a lot of enthusiasm for life.

Right now, we're working through some challenges that many puppy owners know all too well:

๐Ÿพ Pulling on the leash during walks
๐Ÿพ Staying on her bed when asked
๐Ÿพ Jumping up on people when she's excited

And honestly? That's pretty normal for a young puppy.

The world is exciting. People are exciting. Walks are exciting.

The challenge is helping Charli learn that she can still make good choices even when she's excited.

Because those skills have a huge impact on everyday life.

๐Ÿ’› Walks become more enjoyable.
๐Ÿ’› Guests can come over without being greeted by flying paws.
๐Ÿ’› And her family can relax knowing they don't have to constantly manage every situation.

Charli is just getting started, but we're excited to watch her grow and share her progress along the way.

๐Ÿพ Stay tuned to follow Charli's journey!

Missed this one?

Good news! ๐ŸŽ‰

We're already planning our next community class for the first weekend of August. The official date, time, and details will be announced soon, so keep an eye on our page!

๐Ÿพ Annie Update! ๐Ÿพ

Weโ€™ve been working on something that many owners wish their pup can do too: staying on her bed while guests come into the house.

For a puppy, this can be a huge challenge.

Someone walks through the door and suddenly thereโ€™s a new person to greet, new smells to investigate, and lots of excitement happening all at once. For many dogs, that excitement quickly turns into jumping, bouncing, and trying to be the center of attention.

But Annie has been making some awesome progress!

Sheโ€™s learning that she doesnโ€™t have to rush over every time someone comes through the door. Instead, sheโ€™s practicing staying on her bed and remaining calm while guests enter.

And that kind of skill has a big impact on everyday life.

โœจ Being able to answer the door without chaos makes everyday life so much easier.
โœจ Guests can walk in without getting jumped on.
โœจ And you can feel relaxed instead of worried every time the doorbell rings.

Those are the little things that make life with your dog so much more enjoyable.
Weโ€™re incredibly proud of Annie and all the hard work sheโ€™s putting in. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿพ Stay tuned to keep following Annieโ€™s journey!

๐Ÿพ PJ Update! ๐Ÿพ

One of the hardest things for any dog to do is listen when they're excited.
And for PJ, that's exactly what we've been working on!

When something exciting happens, it's easy for dogs to get caught up in the moment. New people, new places, other dogs, or even just the anticipation of something fun can make it hard for them to slow down and think.

But PJ has been making some great progress.

He's learning that even when he's excited, he can still pay attention and make good choices.

And that has a huge impact on everyday life (especially for future service dogs).

You don't have to feel like your dog's ears suddenly stop working the moment something interesting appears.

Being able to listen through excitement isn't just a nice skill to have, it's one of the things that helps dogs succeed in the world.

We're so proud of PJ and all the hard work he's putting in. ๐Ÿถโœจ

๐Ÿพ Stay tuned to keep following PJ's journey!

๐Ÿพ Proud PJ Moment! ๐Ÿพ

We recently got an incredible update on PJ, and moments like this are exactly why service dogs can be so life changing.

PJ was out around lots of dogs and distractions, something that can be really challenging for young dogs still learning how to navigate the world around them.

At first, he needed a little extra space and time to settle in, which is completely normal. But by the end? He was acting like an absolute pro. ๐Ÿ‘

But the biggest moment happened afterward.

During a difficult transition, PJ stepped in on his own and offered comfort exactly the way his owner needed, without being asked.

That kind of response can make such a huge difference in overwhelming moments. Helping someone feel calmer, safer, and more grounded is what makes these dogs so special.

And honestlyโ€ฆ the bonus kisses might not have been part of the original plan ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿถ

PJ is still early in his journey but seeing him naturally start connecting the dots and supporting his owner like this is so exciting.

Weโ€™re incredibly proud of him and canโ€™t wait to watch him continue to grow. โœจ

๐Ÿพ Annie Update! ๐Ÿพ

Weโ€™ve been working on helping Annie feel more comfortable with the car, and sheโ€™s already making awesome progress! ๐Ÿ‘

Like a lot of growing puppies, Annie experiences motion sickness in the car. And unfortunately, when puppies start feeling sick during rides, they can quickly start deciding that the car itself is something they donโ€™t want anything to do with.

Thatโ€™s exactly what started happening with Annie.

Getting into the car became stressful because she associated it with feeling yucky afterward.

So instead of forcing the issue, weโ€™ve been taking things step by step and helping her rebuild confidence around the car.

And even though we only started recently, sheโ€™s already halfway to hopping in by herself! ๐Ÿถโœจ

These kinds of wins may seem small, but they make a huge difference long-term.

Because when dogs feel comfortable with the car, life opens up:
โ€ข Vet visits become less stressful
โ€ข Grooming appointments get easier
โ€ข Adventures and outings become possible again

Weโ€™re so proud of Annie and canโ€™t wait to keep watching her confidence grow. ๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿพ Stay tuned for more Annie updates!

๐Ÿพ You got a dog to enjoy life with together... not to constantly manage them.

You imagined taking walks together and they are walking with you.

Going to parks and they still listen.
Having friends and family over while your dog lays on their bed.
Relaxing in the evenings with a happy, well-mannered dog by your side.

Instead, you might be dealing with:
๐Ÿพ Pulling that makes walks frustrating and dreadful
๐Ÿพ Jumping on guests the second they walk in
๐Ÿพ A dog who gets so excited they seem to forget you're there
๐Ÿพ Everyday situations that feel more stressful than they should

It's exhausting. And sometimes it can make you wonder if life with your dog will always feel this chaotic.

The good news?
It doesn't have to.

You can go on walks with your dog without feeling like you're being dragged down the street.
You can have guests over without holding back your dog while they go crazy wanting to say hi or needing to lock them away.
You can feel proud of your dog's behavior instead of apologizing for it.

Yes, this is possible even with your dog.

๐Ÿพ If you're ready to enjoy your dog more and stress less, send us a message today. We'd love to help!

๐Ÿพ Annie Update! ๐Ÿพ

Annie has been working hard on listening outside, and she is doing amazing! ๐Ÿ‘

For puppies, the outside world can be incredibly exciting. New smells, people, sounds, and distractions can make it really hard to focus.

But Annie has been crushing it.

Sheโ€™s walking right beside her owner without any problem and doing an awesome job coming when called, even with everything going on around her.

And that kind of progress makes a huge difference in everyday life.

Walks become more relaxing.
Outings feel less stressful.
And her owners can feel more confident taking her places.

Annie is still growing and learning, but sheโ€™s already making such great progress and weโ€™re so proud of her. ๐Ÿถโœจ

๐Ÿพ Stay tuned to keep following Annieโ€™s journey!
