Another wonderful update from one of our Seahawks puppy families! This time itās all about Ivey, as told by mom, Crystalā¦
āIvey has been on quite the journey since we picked her up in late April. She became a pro in the car, as we had a very long drive to get home. She stayed her first night in a hotel to split up the journey. This little pup has now travelled through Washington, Idaho, Montana, BC, and into SW Alberta, Canada.
Iveyās first couple days at home saw temperatures in the mid 70ās, where she sought out shady spots in between frolicking in the yard. Mid-week, Ivey got her first taste of rain, and she did NOT like getting wet. She watched the raindrops fall in puddles with curiosity.
Then by the end of the week, Ivey experienced her first snow. She was baffled by the white stuff falling from the sky and certainly didnāt like it on her paws. She did a few sit-ins, protesting us taking her out to go potty in this terrible cold white stuff. We tried putting on little booties, but she liked that even less. š So back to paws in the snow she went and after a few more times out, she got the hang of it. Even figuring out itās kind of fun to play in and definitely fun to eat.
We are so happy to have added this sweet and sassy little girl to our family!ā
Wow, what an adventure Ivey had! And what a lucky pup to have an awesome family who is going to provide her with much love and many adventures. We hope there are lots of updates to come!
