What are my 5 essentials for mastering your weekly planning?

1️⃣ Prioritize! This one gets missed a lot for my fellow ADHD friends. Instead we just dive into the next thing that captures our attention. However, to make progress on our big picture goals, we must take the time to lay it all out, evaluate everything and prioritize what is really going to move the needle in the upcoming week.
2️⃣ Map it out - Taking time to lay out what each day looks like in a weekly schedule is going to give you clarity on how much free space you have in your calendar each week. For example: some weeks you're going to be booked on a lot of calls and meetings. Those aren't the weeks for a lot of back end business tasks and putting a lot of those on your list for the week is going to lead to feeling like you failed. But if you haven't mapped out your week ahead of time, it's difficult to identify those trends.
3️⃣ Identify your big 3! For most of us, our lives are very full. We have families and pets and kid obligations and household responsibilities and partners. Adding a ton of extras each week isn't realistic. Out of those things you've identified in step one and with the time you have identified in step 2, identify what your top 3 "extra" goals or focus areas are for the week. If you have something BIG going on, perhaps it's just one.
4️⃣ Visual scheduling - For people with ADHD, conceptualizing time is challenging. This is why planners that don't allow you to visualize time with a time blocked schedule feel so hard to use. Give yourself hourly time blocked visual scheduling and you'll be able to clearly see where you have gaps in your day and how much time is in each gap so that you can identify what to plug in there.
5️⃣ Food! I know this seems basic, but for those of us with ADHD, food always seems like a struggle. Weekly meal planning and making sure you've thought out your meals each day are going to save you a lot of mental load and reduce stress. Then, make sure you're blocking time in your daily schedule to actually eat.

Daily affirmations are so so helpful to train your brain towards the reality you desire.

And this one keeps coming up with so many women in my world.

➡️ There is a lack of trust that things are heading in the direction they want it to.
➡️ Not believing their own intuition and needing others to validate what their gut has already validated for them.
➡️ Fear that they can actually have the thing they are working to achieve.

Friends, please hear me when I say that literally everything that's meant for you is already yours. 🥰

It may not arrive exactly when or how you want it to, but it will arrive exactly how it's supposed to.

One of the most incredible parts of life is this:

Looking back to see how much has changed in such a short period of time.

The past year has been one of immense growth for me as I put a ton of effort into pieces of my life that previously scared the 💩 out of me!

Things like:

💥 Allowing myself to be seen for ME
💥 Truly cultivating a sisterhood for myself
💥 Staying focused vs. allowing shiny object syndrome to take over

And because you're a part of that journey, I want to thank you for your support on this incredible journey, especially here on IG!

In the past year, this account has seen growth and more engagement beyond what I've ever seen since I started my business 4 years ago.

While I know that my following is nothing compared to some of the big accounts here, I'm still so grateful for it.

Has this happened to you??⁠

You have all the time in the world to get something done or do whatever you want to do....and yet nothing happens? 🥴⁠

I know for me and my ADHD brain, without a deadline or motivating factor in front of me, getting my brain to focus feels impossible!⁠

And that's exactly what my customer told me was happening with her.⁠

Do you know what kind of business owner you are?

I typically see 3 main categories when it comes to executing on things in your business:

1️⃣ Do it yourself (DIY)
These are the scrappy solopreneurs who aren't yet ready to invest in higher ticket options, but still needs tools and resources to gain/ refine valuable skills within their business.

2️⃣ Done with you (DWY)
These entrepreneurs can execute once they know what to do, but need or want guidance through the process. They're not quite ready to bring someone on to fulfill this role, but still need support.

3️⃣ Done for you (DFY)
These are the business owners who are building their team and know how much further they will be able to scale with contracted support IN their business. As a result, they hire on the position either as a contract or paid employee role.

There's no right answer here, because the right answer will be specific to your business needs and timing!

How much money are you leaving on the table because you haven't gotten your projects planned and implemented? 👇🏻

It could be thousands of dollars!! 😱

I was interviewing a client recently. It was roughly 2 months after our VIP Simplified Project Planning session and her website overhaul project was almost done.

During the call she told me that the immediate ROI was at least $5,000!!

Excuse me, WHAT?!?! So she explained:

Normally, she would avoid the planning for things like this due to overwhelm and then when she desperately needed it done, she'd hire someone to do it for her. The cost for a project of this magnitude would have been at least $5k!

All for work that she can and would rather do herself because it more closely captures her vision. 😳

She 10x'd her ROI on my services alone just by saving herself that expense!

Not only that, but there was also a less measurable but very important ROI to consider.

Because her project was a website overhaul, she's now able to send her new client prospects to her website and it actually reflects her current offers and updated services. 🥰

As a result, she's waking up to money dropping into her bank account because her website is aligned wit how her business has shifted! Congruence matters. ❤️

All of this to say that when you aren't taking the time to plan and implement your projects, it is quite literally costing you money!

Wanna know how I take my ideas from concept to final product in record time?? Read this! ⬇️⁠

One of the things that used to paralyze me was actually bringing my offers to life. ⁠

Little known secret: it took me a FULL six months to publish the Say Yes To You Planner after I had it designed because ADHD paralysis and fear of missing a step had me stuck in my head. 🙃⁠

A few months ago, I saw Miranda Leach Collective share this affirmation and it stopped me in my tracks!

"I am stepping into the most transformative and iconic season of my life! This is it! It is my time to SHINE!!"⁠

I grabbed my planner, wrote it down and told myself I would integrate it into my daily planning & affirmation practice.

And then....I didn't. At least not right away or consistently.

I'm not sure what shifted, but within the last several weeks, I have been using it. Every dang day, it's the same one. THIS ONE, that I write down as my daily affirmation in my daily planning.

I don't exactly know how to describe how things have changed, but they have! Here are some examples:

💥 Finally, after 4 years I developed the confidence to book & take brand photos!
💥 I'm stepping up into my glow-up era with better skincare, hair care and starting the process to glow-up my personal style
💥 I've upgraded my daily jewelry with pieces that I love and also that hold spiritual meaning for me.
💥 I'm being recognized as the expert that I am in my industry! [Sought after for speaking gigs, growth on my IG account, referrals and booking more sales calls!]
💥 I have people telling me that I'm beautiful, a star, a genius and more!

Growth means we have to change. And while change is unsettling and can definitely feel uncomfortable, the consistent pursuit of growth is a constant in my life. I'm committed to being a better human, a more healed mom, wife and friend and living the most full life I possibly can! ⁠

I wasn't always this way, I used to think I didn't need to change, so my mindset definitely had to shift to feel comfortable with personal growth!⁠
