🐾 Meet Whimsy 🐾

If joy had four paws, it would be Whimsy. 💕✨

At just 11 weeks old and 3.5 pounds, this tiny Terrier mix is living proof that the biggest personalities sometimes come in the smallest packages. With her bright eyes, wagging tail, and endless curiosity, Whimsy approaches every day like it's the best day ever.

She's playful, affectionate, and overflowing with the kind of carefree puppy happiness that makes everyone around her smile. Toys are exciting. New friends are exciting. Leaves blowing across the yard? Absolutely exciting. To Whimsy, life is one grand adventure just waiting to be explored.

What's most remarkable about this little girl is that despite experiencing more hardship than any puppy ever should, Whimsy has chosen joy. She hasn't let her past define her. Instead, she wakes up each day ready to love, play, trust, and embrace whatever comes next.

Whimsy's future is bright. Now she just needs a family to share it with.

Interested in adopting? Complete an application on our website. A history of consistent vaccinations and care is required for all current and past pets. A fenced yard is also a must. The adoption fee is $350. All of our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on appropriate vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.

It’s hard to believe that the little brown goofball in the bottom-right photo is the same sweet girl you see in the others. ❤️

When Petunia came to us this spring, she was suffering from Demodex mange. Thankfully, Demodex is not contagious and is easily treated. With love, patience, and the care she deserved, Petunia began her journey toward healing.

One of our wonderful volunteers captured her transformation through regular photos, giving us a beautiful glimpse into just how far this girl has come. 🐾

Today, Petunia is fully healed, happy, and more beautiful than ever. But there’s still one thing missing from her story: a family to call her own.

She has already shown us how strong and resilient she is. Now she’s ready to show someone just how much love she has to give.

Petunia is ready for her happily-ever-after. ❤️

These precious little fighters were left to die alone-found in a church parking lot by a Good Samaritan. They were starving, eaten up with demodex so bad that none have hair (scabs are starting to heal); full of worms, and terrified.

One of our volunteers observed the sister protecting her runt brother in their kennel ❤️🥺 They have been through too much💔

Even through their neglect, these babies still manage to wag tails🥹 They are learning to play and already allowing love in despite the actions of others. Super sweet pups that just need a chance. Their “glow up” will be tremendous! We can’t wait to see how they look in a few weeks and share with you!
