At Fernando’s Pooch Pawlor, we believe dogs are family—not appointments.

Every groom begins with trust. Before the haircut, before the bath, before the finishing touches, there is a living, feeling companion who deserves patience, kindness, and respect.

We believe true luxury isn’t measured by fancy décor or how many dogs we can groom in a day. It’s measured by the time, skill, and care we invest in every dog entrusted to us.

We are not driven by volume. We are driven by craftsmanship.

We believe grooming is a partnership. We promise to provide exceptional care while your dog is with us, and we hope you’ll continue that care at home so your dog stays healthy, comfortable, and beautiful between visits.

Our standards are high because your dog deserves nothing less.

We will always choose what is best for the dog over what is fastest, easiest, or most profitable.

Every dog that walks through our doors carries something far more important than a coat…

They carry someone’s heart.

We don’t measure success by how many dogs we groom. We measure it by how well we care for the ones entrusted to us.

We want the clients who believe their dog deserves exceptional care.

Fernando isn’t interested in rushing through as many dogs as possible.

He’s interested in doing work he’s proud to put his name on.

The right clients understand that great grooming takes time, consistency, and teamwork between the groomer and the owner.

🐾 Why Is My Groom Running Behind? Please Read.

When a severely matted dog comes through our doors, our entire day changes.

A groomer’s job is to maintain a healthy coat—not spend hours removing months of neglect.

Every severely matted dog requires extra time, extra caution, and tremendous physical effort. We can’t rush. We can’t skip steps. We can’t risk cutting skin that has become trapped inside a solid mat.

While we’re doing that…

• Every client behind that appointment waits longer.
• Our lunch is delayed—or skipped.
• We work late into the evening.
• We earn less because one neglected coat can consume hours of our day.
• Our own families and pets wait for us to come home.

We will never turn our backs on a dog that needs relief.

But we ask owners to understand this:

Brushing your dog is part of owning your dog.

If you choose a breed that requires coat maintenance, brushing between grooming appointments isn’t optional—it is your responsibility.

Our job is to make your dog beautiful.

Your job is to make sure your dog doesn’t arrive suffering.
