For those of you following along, yes, Bucky was returned again, and again not his fault. He will be staying with us at Stellar. I figure coming back to us twice is a sign he should stay

As a breeder, I’m glad that we can provide Northern Inuits to other families so they can experience the same enjoyment with this breed as we do. However, one of the hardest things for me is letting those puppies go. I always worry if I’ve trusted the right people with their care and happiness. It weighs on my heart heavily for quite some time.
We placed sweet Bucky earlier this year and he was returned, thru no fault of his own. We now have another home for him and he will be leaving tomorrow. Prayers for Bucky as he starts a new chapter in his journey. Prayers for us as well. We’ve gotten attached and letting go is hard.

Just having some playtime Saturday morning with the Inuits. I try to prepare all of my owners for the energy that comes with this breed. This is Tai (Dad 5 yrs old) and Andi (1/2 Sister 1 yr old) teaching young Bucky (3 months old) some play manners. While some Inuits can be great couch potatoes, others have a higher drive and energy level.

*Rough housing is always supervised and I never put puppies with older dogs that I dont trust.

Update on our 2026 litters.
Long story short, Anya didn’t take in March thanks to an inexperienced vet. We have a new Reproductive specialty vet that we will use when she comes in heat in the fall. 5 hr drive but it’s worth it to make sure she takes this time. Depending on when Andi comes in heat, she may or may not be bred this fall. She doesnt turn 2 until September 6th. Since Jasmine just had Bucky, she can’t be bred again until March 2027.
So unfortunately, we are playing the waiting game again. It’s very frustrating and we learned some hard lessons as a breeder this time. I apologize for the delay in producing puppies so far this year. Tai and Anya have been examined by the new vet. They are both healthy and can produce puppies. The new vet has assured me that we will be successful this fall
