Great day for all the Scituate Riding School ladies out at the CRDA schooling show yesterday!! So proud of this crew for the hard work put in!!

Chloe Costello started our day off with a big win in Intro A with our Queen Makenna gaining a 67.5%

Julianna Pierry came back to the show ring for the first time this season with a splash!! 67.1% Intro A and gained Makenna another blue ribbon with 65.9% in Intro B!

Caroline Connolly took Wynshires Aristocrat out for Intro B and C with a 62% and 61% gained! Second place in her second ever canter test is so exciting!

Brooke Costello started us off in her first ever Training 1 and 2 tests getting a 🥇68% and 65% on our beloved Blingh! So proud of the confidence and skill displayed by her!!

Molly Murphy took out everyone’s favorite hunter king Demi for training 1 and 2. Touching into the 60s on a horse that is still looking for the jump in the show ring is no easy feat. Prix caprilli here we come!!

Maddie Muzzi finished off the day with super riding through her first training 1 and 2 tests ever gaining a 64% and 🥇66%. This dedicated kid has put in the work and it paid off!

Special thank you to all the parents who made this day possible. Also to Peter Brown for getting our ponies there and back safely and Rita A. Brown for teaching me everything I know and making this dream of mine to run this riding school possible. Finally, thank you to Sue Barrett for being the best right hand in getting not only her horse braided and cared for but many others and supporting all the riders to make the day run smoothly.

Scituate Riding School took another fun adventure to Briggs for the Heritage Dressage show!

Once again the horses and riders made me very proud to call myself their trainer!

In Intro A we had Maddie(1st place!) and Sophie on our newest barn addition Scout, Caroline on Sport, and Juliana on Makenna. Great tests to prepare us for what we wanted to accomplish in the second tests.

All four pairs plus Brooke on Makenna and Micheal with Diesel competed in Intro B gaining exciting scores with Juliana winning Section A and Maddie taking the win in Section B.

Brooke aboard Sport got a very exciting second placing in Intro C and Micheal and Diesel also in Intro C had a very successful first dressage show ever! I was very proud of this pair for getting out there and getting it done!

Finally my leadline girls made me so happy. I was thrilled to finally get Gabby and Bela Scanzillo out to a show with Gabby getting a first place in leadline and Bela doing great work with the tricky sport in a step above leadline! Maggie and Chloe also joined us at this show both getting great scores and securing a first place each!

Fall fun around the farm

Proud trainer here!! The girls did incredible at the Heritage Dressage Association show today!! 🎉🐴🎉🐴

The ladies cleaned up in Intro A and B with Sport, Makenna, and JH! Scores went up to 69%🎉🎉

-Caroline and Sport won Intro A in Caroline’s first show ever! So excited for Caroline to be out conquering the wiggly Sport!

-Juliana and Makenna had high 60’s in Juliana’s first showing, very excited to see this pairing grow further as Juliana has been working so hard going into this!!

-Sophie and JH made great strides in intro A and B. They won Intro B after working on that suppleness in between tests! So exciting for another first showing on a tricky pony!

-Brooke had an incredible time in her second show ever up in the 60’s on Makenna in Intro B and Sport in Intro C. She managed riding two different horses like a champ!

-Josie had great scores on Sport, winning Training 1 and doing some great riding in Training 2. Very excited to get her into the ring with us before she heads back to IDA at school.

-Sue impressed me so much at Training 1&2 with her dressage Demi! He is a hunter king at heart and I appreciate them both dipping their toes into the dressage ring and killing it staying in the 60’s with massive improvement through the two tests!

Finally my leadline girls finished the day off with two more blues and reds!

-Chloe did wonderful work with JH showing off the breakthroughs in her riding that she has made over the last couple of months.

-Maggie moved up to a step above leadline and amazed me doing impressive work with Makenna girl!

All in all what a great day thank you to the incredible team behind me…RITA BROWN! And to all the girls for pulling their weight and supporting every other rider along the way! Go SRS!!
