🐾 Buck’s Training Update!

Buck is making great progress! 🐶 This 1-year-old cattle dog has been coming in weekly and is heading into session #6!

When Buck first arrived, he needed help with engagement, manners, and his tendency to bolt through doors and gates. We’re building the skills and communication he needs to make safer, smarter choices and become an even better companion for his family.

Consistency is key, and we love seeing his progress! ❤️

Meet Lephty! 🐾💛

At just 9 months old, this boy is already showing resource-guarding behaviors that have resulted in bites at home. This is exactly why understanding dogs and understanding what they’re communicating is so important.

At Incredible Canine, we recognize that every stage of a dog’s development comes with its own challenges. Adolescence can bring out behaviors that, if ignored, can become much bigger problems later.

Lephty learned that people around his food and treats were nothing to fear, while building the communication, confidence, impulse control, and manners he needed to navigate this stage successfully and have a brighter future ahead.

And now, Lephty has started his transfer lessons with his family, where the goal is to help everyone take what he’s learned here and successfully apply it at home. 🏡

Addressing behaviors early can change the entire trajectory of a dog’s life. That’s where experience, understanding, and the right relationship with your dog make all the difference!

Not every barking, lunging dog needs a louder voice. 📣

Sometimes, they need someone calm enough to see what’s underneath the behavior.

Watch master trainer Patrick work with this German Shepherd as he refuses to match the chaos. Instead, he stays steady, reads the dog, and gives him the space and guidance to make better choices.

And you can see the shift…the barking and lunging begin to give way to control, focus, and a calmer state of mind.

This is where experience matters. Patrick knows that real progress isn’t about overpowering a dog. It’s about understanding the behavior, creating clarity, and giving the dog the confidence to choose differently.

🐻 We have another Bear here for bootcamp 🐻

This time, our Bear is a 5-month-old Chihuahua mix…and he may be small, but his challenges are anything but!

Bear has a ton of energy and very little impulse control. Jumping, biting, and generally keeping both his human and K9 family on their toes have become his specialties.

It’s a great reminder that big issues don’t always come in big packages. Whether you have a 5-pound Chihuahua or a 100-pound dog, behavior challenges can impact the entire household and deserve to be understood and addressed.

At Incredible Canine Training Center we work with every breed, every size, and every personality because every dog deserves the opportunity to learn, communicate, and thrive.

Meet Jara, a one-year-old Chihuahua mix with a face that could melt anyone’s heart…and those adorable ears? We can’t get enough of them! 🥹

When Jara arrived, the world was a scary place. She had never been allowed off leash, not even to go potty, and she missed out on the early socialization that helps puppies build confidence. Because of that, fear became her first response, and when startled or overwhelmed, she’d react with her teeth.

The good news? Jara has made incredible progress! Every day she’s learning that the world isn’t as frightening as she once believed. Through patient, structured training and positive experiences, she’s gaining confidence, trusting her handlers, and discovering that she can feel safe navigating new situations.

Watching fearful dogs like Jara transform is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Confidence isn’t built overnight, but with the right guidance, even the most timid pups can learn to embrace the world one brave step at a time.
