Howarth Park on Sundays tends to be a pretty awesome opportunity for the crew. Today they got to meet dozens of people out for a walk, men women, and children loving on them. It doesn’t take long before the dogs go from apprehensive to fun times.

For folks that remember our sweet Zipline that found his home through the Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County. This is his dad, Bicep.

I’m bringing this sweetheart home tonight from Clearlake Animal Association and you can meet him tomorrow at Howarth Park at noon along with all of our other adoptable dogs.

Hey folks, I’ll have dogs looking for homes at Howarth park from 12-1 this Sunday. Come out and meet the crew, spend some time with them. We’d love for them to find their match but just as well if they meet a bunch of people that just want to say hi!

Hey folks, my online activity is a little sporadic at the moment.

Between work, projects, side projects, family life, and finally taking care of a long list of medical issues I’ve ignored for 20+ years, the days seem to run out faster than I can keep up with them.

Some days I have plenty to say and no time to say it. Other days, I finally get a quiet moment and realize I’m completely out of mental bandwidth.

So if I disappear for a few days, take forever to post something I meant to share, or suddenly show up with five unrelated updates at once… that’s pretty much where life is right now.

I’m still here, still working, still taking on probably more projects than any reasonable person should, just moving through them at a slightly less predictable pace these days.

The gang is deciding where to put muddy footprints first. Several hours of cleaning vs 30 seconds of dogs doing dog things isn’t fair.

Newt and Hinata at Howarth Park turning heads. No takers yet for these two shepherd/husky crosses. Both of these good kids are looking for happily ever after.

Adoptable through Clearlake Animal Association.

It’s pretty clear where these kids advantages are. Socially outgoing with strangers is a big help.

And just like that, the babies are on their way to whatever fate has in store for them. ❤️

It’s bittersweet, as always. We invest so much time, energy, and emotion into their growth and well-being. Watching them develop, worrying about them, celebrating their progress, and doing everything we can to give them the best possible start. And then comes the day when we have to let them go, never really knowing how their stories will unfold.

We’re incredibly grateful once again to the folks at Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County. Today, the pups are on their way there for their shot at a happily ever after.

Good luck, little ones. We’ll be rooting for you.

It’s my morning coffee.

I’ve said a few times that I wasn’t sure how these puppies would turn out. One of the biggest challenges of raising a litter of puppies is always the cleaning.

I’ve had litters where I stared up at the ceiling wondering how they somehow managed to get p**p all the way up there. 🙄 I’ve had mornings where I absentmindedly rubbed my sweaty face and realized I had just gotten p**p in my eye. 🤮

So I have REALLY appreciated how seriously these kids have taken their potty training.

On mornings when I would normally spend the better part of my time cleaning up after puppies (alongside normal kennel maintenance), today I get to sit here and simply enjoy watching them run around and play with the dogs.

It’s the little things.

Most of these dogs are available to adopt through Clearlake Animal Association
