This is Teddi. She weighs about 5 pounds and has a little hardware helping hold her front leg together after she broke it at just 4 months old. Her family brought her straight to our ER after a fall, and Dr. Dusty Spencer repaired the fracture with a plate and screws.

Our orthopedic surgery team helped her through the weeks that followed, including a setback after she tried chasing her sibling before her leg was ready. Another procedure, extra time in a splint, and more healing followed. It took a little longer to get there, but she’s getting around more comfortably now.

We’re very much in favor of Teddi getting to resume her puppy business. ❤️

We’ve been getting updates from Briceson’s family, and he’s purring all day and asking for cuddles. It’s hard to believe this is the same we cared for through respiratory failure and more than 50 hours on a ventilator.

With heart disease and suspected asthma in the picture, we didn’t know how he’d recover. Even after he was breathing on his own again, we watched closely as he slowly became more alert, started eating, and began showing us his affectionate side.

Now he’s back home with his family, doing the little things that mean so much. ❤️

These 10 dogs didn’t know there was another dog who needed them. They didn’t know his name was Ox. They didn’t know his family was scared.

They were simply being our dogs.

When Ox’s immune system was attacking his red blood cells, their donations helped provide the 12 units of blood products we needed to care for him. They may never understand the lifesaving difference they made, but they helped give a family their dog back. ❤️

We’ve expanded our Pet Loss Support Group with a new in-person meeting time each month, giving our community another opportunity to find support and connection after the loss of a beloved pet.

The first meeting at our new time is Thursday, October 8. These free sessions are led by a licensed clinical social worker and offer a supportive space to reflect, listen, connect, and share at your own pace.
