What better way to celebrate Vet Tech Appreciation Week than with some friendly (or not so friendly) competition!

Our Livonia clinic hosted the 1st Annual Vet Tech Olympics this week and competed in various events:
Recovery Collar 101 (no description needed - see pics! 😂)
Gloved Up - picking up various objects (ie tongue depressors!) while wearing thick lead gloves
E Tube Ring Toss
Sterility Matters - who can gown up the fastest!
Name That Dog Breed (Sara, one of our fabulous assistants, pulled out the win with Borzoi!)
Friends Don't Let Friends Eat Raisins - calculating drug dosages in emergency situations
Name That Surgical Instrument

Thank you to the participants and the judges!

Congratulations to our winners:
1st: Emily and Sara
2nd: Montana and KaTrina
3rd: Amber and Courtney

Time to get spooky pet parents!

Our Livonia office is throwing a pumpkin party, and they need your vote! Our team went all out on their boo-tiful masterpieces and want you to be the judges; winner gets bragging rights for their gourd-geous skills. Let us know your favorite pumpkin in the comments (or stop in to vote in person!), and we'll crown the winner by Halloween!
